I have purchased many such furniture's to assemble and use in past 10 years. So it's not first time. About the product,Good product and for what it is pricing is ok. However it's been poorly designed for DIY (do it yourself) online sale. Product is very bulky over 260 LBS package. Assembly design is very poor following are few of the reasons for my statement1. Overall time for average home users to assembly would be about 8 hour( with couple of hours help for another person for lifting and integration)2. Assembly time could have be reduced if some of the items, like drawers, railings etc pre assembled (which could have not increased package volume or weight by some simple thinking)3. Fittings design is poor, which fall apart due to weight of product towards final steps (when we are required to integrate make downside to upward)4. Such a heavy product doesn't even have a wheels, make it very very difficult even with two person handling it.5. Assembly could have made it easy it cabinet integration was separated from desk.I can go on, but when I am not a product designer can think of many improvements which are not that hard to implement. Wonder what actually product designer was doing when designed.Apart form one full day I lost trying to assemble, i would need to pay my own shipping to return. And to fit this in its original package, would be easly another one day project. To fit all heavy parts back it it place, can't think off. Secondly shipping costs will outweigh the effort.As this desk as fall apart can't use and I am disposing as return is not worthy option Amazon or seller is offering.Any one still looking for this or similar bulky product. My suggestion is either buy from local store assembled or buy IKEA product which are well thought off for DIY furniture or get assembly help at check out by paying little extra, then had disposing and lose full money like me.

I would have given this five stars because it's an excellent desk and we love it. However, this took longer to assemble than any other item I've ever purchased (and I purchase a lot of build-it-yourself furniture). Two of us, armed with a power drill, started this bad boy at 2:00 in the afternoon and finished at 4:00 the next morning. So... be prepared!

This desk is great--it is exactly what I needed. HOWEVER, as others have said, it was a real challenge to put together--AND it arrived with two small gouges in the top. It was something I needed immediately and didn't have time to hassle over getting a replacement top --didn't even try---but the gouges do irritate me each time I look at them. The shipping box also had the same gouges so I should have caught it before I spent 4 hours putting it partially together and discovered them. My advice, inspect the carton and if it has gouges, inspect the pieces before you spend the time putting it together.

Ordered this desk for my home office. Desk turned out to be pretty nice once completed. However, I'm very handy with assembly and this project take me and my daughter about 6 hours to complete. It is ok to use power tools, but NOT recommended on step 21, when putting mold on top too much pressure can push screws through finished desk top. Had some small issues with desk after completion, but after all the work I'm not going to complain too much, very minor, bottom drawer not closing properly.

I just bought it a few months ago and some parts are already broken

It is a very nice desk just the boxes (2) it was delivered in were very heavy. It takes a lot of time to put together but the instructions are very through. Even with all the packing it came with a couple of damaged spots.

We purchased two of these desks for our office and are very happy with them. The assembly did take some time, but it's a big piece so that was expected. We had issues with a few parts that broke during shipping and the seller responded quickly with replacement parts. This desk has a solid look and feel, with good storage and functionality. It has a nice contemporary look without sacrificing the organizational needs of an office desk.

Quality desk, love the wood but the drawers are extremely difficult to install!! Still working on them after 2 weeks!!
