NEW HARVEST, VERY FRESH Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil OLEUM VIRIDE, from Spanish National Park, unfiltered, directly from farmers

This is authentic extra virgin olive oil (evoo). I bought it for salads and savoring. I just love Spanish olive oils because of their flavor and high quality (Spain is number 1 producer of olive oil). This one is no exception. I'm used to arbequina and picual, so my palate needs time to appreciate manzanilla and lechín. Another positive is that it comes in a small tin, so it'll stay fresh longer. The fact that the tin is a little dented is not a big deal because It doesn't affect the quality or flavor.I hope this will help someone else.

Great flavor. Superb.

The flavor is rich and aromatic. It compliments vegetables well but especially bread. I use this exclusively and am proud to support these farmers and suppliers. It’s a 5 star product for sure. I gave it 4 because I ordered 6 cans for Christmas gifts and was delighted to get them quickly. The cans were all dented and scratched. No paper or bubble wrap protecting the cans. Cannot use them for gifts, but my family will consume them this coming year. You will not be disappointed in the superior quality of this olive oil, but perhaps order them directly from the farmer as I will next time.

Heavy, almost cloudy oil. Very like what we used in Spain for a cooking class. This is a small tin (16 oz, not a full liter which would be about twice as much.) So use this oil for dishes where you want the flavor to be uppermost and where you are not heating it very much. Great for dipping, for example. Organic, from a family company so likely not to have been adulterated with other sourced olive oils or worse yet, non-olive oil. Most grocery store oil is at very least, sourced from a number of countries and hardly extra virgin. If you want the real thing, this is the real thing.

The media could not be loaded. I met the son of the owner, Luis, on a Backroads biking trip. He explained to me the love, sweat and care put in by his entire family in Spain to make the oil. It is UNBELIEVABLE!!! The video is Luis speaking about the product. What are you waiting for? Buy it!!!

These are fresh pressings of green olives from a small olive mill in southern Spain. I was at the factory in 2019, and saw the process from the first pressings to packaging of the oil. The result is a virgin olive oil with a spicy, fresh taste. Not inexpensive, but worth the price, especially for specialized use.

While in Spain we actually went to the farm where they process this olive oil, I brought several cans back with me. I love that I can buy it through Amazon vice having to buy directly from Spain.
