The BEST
The BEST self tanner aside from the accompanying liquid gold tanning foam. This is the GOAT for on the go self tanning! Dries super fast, smells coconut-y and warm, very easy to apply. Goes on clear so make sure you’re using broad strokes and really working it over your skin. I have gone through many bottles of this and never had a patchy application. I use this on my body only as my face is sensitive to oils but I imagine you could also use it above the neck. Leaves a really warm, brown, natural tan which is what I love most about this product range. Something about this formula leaves the best tan! Can also be used the day after for a second coat or even later in the day. I do not notice a transfer to clothing but I do wear black after applying. Usually lasts 5 days max before needing another application if longevity is important to you (I’ve had other last longer.) I have found the best way to apply this product is to spray directly on skin and work in while wearing a disposable glove. Otherwise, it works great with a tanning glove but does tend to soak into the fabric of the glove while using.

Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Dry Oil: A Luxurious Self-Tan Option with a Quick Dry Time
Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Dry Oil is a self-tanner designed to deliver a natural-looking tan with a quick drying time. Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons to help you decide if this product is the right choice for you: Pros: Quick Drying: This dry oil formula is advertised to dry quickly, minimizing the wait time before you can get dressed after application. Hydrating: The product contains argan oil, which should help keep your skin hydrated while developing a tan. Natural Tan: Bondi Sands Liquid Gold promises a natural-looking, golden tan that develops over several hours. Easy Application (for some): Some users report that the spray application makes it easy to cover large areas of the body quickly. Coconut Scent: The coconut scent is pleasant for some users. Cons: Potential for Streaks: Several user reviews mention the difficulty of achieving a streak-free application, especially for beginners or those applying on their own. Using a self-tanning mitt might be necessary for a flawless application. Strong Initial Scent: While some enjoy the coconut scent, others find it overpowering, especially upon initial application. Limited Color Options: Currently, Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Dry Oil seems to be only available in one color. Price: Compared to some drugstore self-tanning options, this product falls on the pricier side. Overall: Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Dry Oil offers a quick-drying, hydrating formula that promises a natural-looking tan. However, the potential for streaks and the limited color options are drawbacks to consider. Here are some additional things to consider before purchasing: Self-Tanning Experience: If you're new to self-tanning, this product might be more challenging to apply streak-free compared to lotions or mousses. Desired Color: Since there's only one color option available, Bondi Sands Liquid Gold might not be suitable for everyone's desired tan depth. Budget: Factor in the price point when comparing this product to other self-tanning options that might offer similar results. I hope this review helps you decide if Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Dry Oil is the right choice for your self-tanning needs!

I love that this is buildable, like a gradual tan BUT you see a nice color the next day. It’s somewhere between gradual and a typical self tanner. This is really hydrating on my super dry skin. I’m 36 and I like some color but I struggle with dry patches so this is a great fix. I like this more than any lotion or mousse tanner I’ve tried! Smells great, easy and really quick to apply with a body brush.

Still sticky but has great color and does not have a strong smell or streak
I bought this product and the Bondi Sands Foam to see which one I liked better. They both work great and the tan is not orange and it does not streak. The scent is coconut and it's pleasant enough. My only complaint with this one is that it does not actually "dry" like you would expect from the description. It's still sticky. I tried it last night and after 10 minutes put sleeping pants on and went to bed. (They were black so I couldn't see how much transfer there was). When I woke up, the tan looked great. I rinsed off this morning and re-applied, it's even darker and fantastic looking but as I write this review... I'm still a bit sticky, not bad but a little. Would I buy again? Yes. For the sole reason that you don't have to wash it off in a specific time. I have yet to find a self tanner that does "everything." But you can't even get that at a professional tanning salon so it's hard to complain. A couple of tips for new users: (this works for all fake tans; professional and home applications) 1. Apply with something other than your bare hands! I bought a giant package of surgical gloves. 2. Exfoliate like crazy (I use the exfoliating gloves at the end of my shower so my skin is already softened). Shave with a new razor. 3. The brown tint you see when you apply is just makeup and is to help you see where you have applied the product. It will wash off when you wash the product, this is normal. 4. MOST IMPORTANT - When you shower, use cold water to keep your pores closed. A lot of people use hot water, which opens your pores and the tan washes right off. I only shower briefly to get the top layer off and then I pat dry. I wait until the next day to lightly rinse again and use lotion. 5. 2nd MOST IMPORTANT - The next day (or when you feel really dry), PUT LOTION on. Now you need to hydrate, the tan is in your skin and you need to keep it hydrated so it will last longer. If your skin gets too dry it was start to flake and the tan will be patchy.

Bon produit, très facile à appliquer, ne laisse aucune démarcation. Résultat très naturel, un hâle "bonne mine" dès la première application au parfum léger de coconut.

I love this stuff so much that after trying it twice I bought a bottle each for my mum and my flatmate. I have tried a lot of tans but usually get bored because applying them well is too time consuming and most go very patchy as they fade. This one is different. PROCESS: I exfoliate well with the bondi sands mitt in the shower beforehand and slap a small amount of moisturiser on my elbows and ankles. Once dry after my shower, I spray this (staying away from joints) straight onto my skin and then buff it in with a cheap tanning mitt, using the excess for my knees, ankles, elbows, and the backs of my hands. I apply it to my face and ears with either an old makeup brush or a smaller tanning mitt. DRYING: It dries within a few minutes and doesn’t transfer much, if at all - I apply it just before going to sleep and my white bedsheets are still sparkling. Barely any stickiness as it dries which is great - it doesn’t feel like you have product on your skin, and it doesn’t smear around once applied so little risk of patchiness. SMELL: It smells really lovely and coconutty when you first put it on. Over a few hours it will begin to smell like fake tan, that’s unavoidable, but it is much less strong than other formulas I have used, and goes away with a quick shower in the morning. EASE OF USE: It’s pretty foolproof, despite not having a strong colour guide. Make sure you apply it with a mitt and buff it in really well until it’s dry. It takes me less than ten minutes to do my whole body and face and dry enough to put loose clothes on without ruining the tan. This product does not need washing off, though you might want a quick shower after a few hours to get rid of tell tale fake tan smell. COLOUR: I have light warm toned skin (NC15 in mac) and find this gets me considerably darker all over with just one application. Two applications on consecutive days and I look like I’ve spent a fortnight on the beach. On pink or cool skin light skintones it might read a touch too warm toned and orangey, I am unsure, but it’s perfect if you already have a yellow undertone. LONGEVITY: Every tan I’ve ever used fades really patchy regardless of how well it went on, especially on the insides of my elbows. This one doesn’t do that - it seems to fade evenly everywhere. If I exfoliate so I can top it up, it comes off evenly to the same extent all over while still leaving quite a lot of colour. I got this on sale for £8 which is an absolute steal, but I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it at the full price of £14. For how good it is it’s a bargain
