I bought these for when I occasionally need a short term boost to keep going until I can finish whatever project I've got going. Or for migraines.Coffee tears up my stomach, and the energy drinks contain a mix that make me jittery and dealing with nausea. They're handy but aren't an option for me.Studies have shown time and again that caffeine can help with migraines. The only difference between most over the counter migraine meds and their regular product is the addition of caffeine. If you are cursed with them, you probably just shook your head yes and are not even a tiny bit surprised.For those that have never had one, thank God (or the universe or whatever your belief system is) you don't. Never tell someone with a migraine to suck it up, stop exaggerating, or ignore it. That is impossible when a bad one hits. It's like telling them to get over a broken bone. Nobody would want or choose to have one, they are a unique in the pain they generate, can inconvenience your entire life, and take whatever time is needed to go away. And karma is a b****. Arrogance and lack of compassion may find you in an extremely painful condition, wanting desperately to be well, never have whatever struck you down happen again, and surrounded by people telling you to get over it. And that you're weak.Except for migraine sufferers, they will get them again, and know exactly what to look forward to, again and again and again. Imagine breaking a bone every week, or less, and you have little hope of ever being done with them. Hence the high suicide rate.Selflessness and compassion are always noticed and rewarded. So practice some.Be proactive with the tools available to help. Supplements can make a huge difference in quality of life, and are natural instead of reaching for a pill.Knowledge is power. Do a little research and you'll find supplements can improve your life. Buy from a reputable company that actually tests the batches being made every time, and enjoy the benefits. So simple and difficult at the same time.

Edit: I have been using this product in the manner I describe below and it's been good. This the most economical form of caffeine I know of, and I will continue buying it until I find an easy way to get caffeine in bulk form.Original: I would buy and use pure caffeine if it were still available in the USA, but because the FDA now prohibits sale of pure bulk caffeine to consumers this product seems like the best alternative currently available.I prefer a dose of 100mg with my first liter of water in the morning, and because these capsules contain a stated dose of 200mg, and because I don't have a means to measure such small weights, I choose to dissolve the product in water and measure it accordingly for each use. Caffeine has a solubility of 16mg/ml at room temperature in plain water, so I emptied all the capsules into a liter-sized bottle of water. Total dissolved caffeine at room temperature in a liter of plain water is about 16gm, which equals 80 capsules of 200mg dosage. But I added the total amount of caffeine from the package so an amount of undissolved caffeine is visible at the bottom of the bottle. The visible undissolved product is visible verification that the solution is 'full strength.' I received more than the stated 100 capsules in my package, so the bottle contains a fair bit of undissolved product at the moment. As contents of the bottle are used I can add water to utilize the extra caffeine. I got a 10ml syringe from the local pharmacist, which has been great for measuring the 6ml dose I need, but a teaspoon (~5ml) would be a convenient substitute.

This is the pure gelatin of bovine origin capsule form, if you want a gelatin capsule that is vegetarian bulk supplements has that available too. The capsules are tiny and easy to swallow: about the size of a diphenydramine capsule. 1 dose equals 1 capsule and contains 200 mg of caffeine (equal to two cups of coffee). The packaging has several warning messages to not take more than one capsule at a time, no more than 3 capsules in a whole day total and watch for signs that contraindicate usage. Refrigeration is not necessary, just to be kept in cool dark place and there are 100 doses of 200 mg capsule. You may note some spillage (eg some white powder in container) this is normal with shipping capsules in this type of bag container.

Good quality pure caffeine in capsules, no fillers, silicon, etc. no irritating or harmful additives the capsule itself is a standard 2 part capsule size, and it swallows easily without nasty taste or stickiness in the throat. the pouch is fairly robust it feels like mylar-foil-myler but i'm not a packaging expert so don't quote me on that. point is, you might want to have some scissors or a blade when you first open it, it's a little tough to just grab and tear, if you do it could spill all over. I consider the tough container a positive, if you get more than one and store it, you don't need to worry about accidentally piercing the package and letting the contents deteriorate.only other caffeine pill I buy i buy is Jet Alert doubles (also 200mg), which are pressed coated tablets, compared to the jet alerts, these dissolve and absorb faster so you can often get away with taking less or spacing them out for quicker hitting but less intense, or take the same amount and get a faster/harder/better effect only downside is the same as the upside, it absorbs faster so it;s out of your system faster, if you run all day on caffeine take that into account and bring some with you.
