Spicy and fresh
I was expecting more than a bag of spice mix in these boxes, but that all they are. The flavor is spicy and fresh, but the box makes it look like there is more than just a spice mix in these oversized boxes.

Decent Spices, But Not Worth the Price
The spices are okay overall, but I noticed some big chunks in the masala that made it feel a bit unrefined. Prices are on the higher side, and unfortunately, they don’t accept returns, which is a bit frustrating. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

If you use the whole box of spice double the quantity of meat and almost double the rice
This product is really good. Makes a very tasty biryani. However, one huge caveat. If you use the whole box of spice you should double the quantity of meat and almost double up on the rice. Also, I reduce the yogurt. Even though I double up on the meat and use more rice, I never use as much yogurt as the recipe specifies. I use about one cup of yogurt for the whole dish. Once you have cooked your meat and before you make the rice and meat layers, taste the meat sauce/ gravy and you still have time to adjust the salt.
