The Theory of the Leisure Class: An Economic Study in the Evolution of Institutions

Great Book
This book is a must read for anyone interested in history or economics. It looks at basic question such as, why does private property exist? and also examines the concepts of social hierarchy and status. It is a pretty short book. Be forewarned that at times the language is very abstract and seems overly self-referential.

Disappointing
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK. The font size is EXTREMELY small! You'll need a high-power magnifying glass to make out or read the text! Beware Beware. This book should be taken off Amazon's website until the font size is corrected!

I read the book in college. A thought provoking on what is truly important. I highly recommend it to anyone especially young people.

Should Be Sold with a Magnifying Glass
The paper quality is poor and the type is so small that it is simply not possible to read it comfortably. Very disappointing.

Unreadably small print
Dont know. Too small to read. Waste of money.

Abyssimal print on demand quality - don't buy.
I get that book production costs do correlate with the number of pages a book has.But pressing the content of a classic on the minimal number of pages with minimal borders and 7px font size makes the whole book unreadable and generally a proper disappointment.Don't buy. The text may be great, but this particular book is a waste of money. Would give 0/5 points if possible. A phone book is easier to read.
