This set really surprised me in the best way - both in terms of the level of detail and how much you get for the price.The two main buildings (Honeydukes and The Three Broomsticks) are incredibly well-designed, with lots of recognisable little touches for Harry Potter fans. Inside, each shop is packed with references - potion bottles, shelves, tiny printed elements - and it all feels much more premium than you’d expect at this price point.Assembly was smooth and enjoyable. Even if you’re not a LEGO expert, the instructions are clear and the build never feels overwhelming. It took me a couple of relaxed evenings to finish, and it was genuinely satisfying to watch it come together.The build quality is solid, as you’d expect from LEGO, and everything clicks into place with no loose or flimsy areas. It looks fantastic displayed, and the included minifigures - especially the golden anniversary one - make it a great collector’s piece too.If you’re buying this as a gift, it hits the sweet spot between being fun to build and stunning to display. Whether you’re a fan of LEGO, Harry Potter, or both, this is a set that absolutely delivers.

I've wanted this as part of my Christmas display for years. My son told me it was being discontinued so I made sure I bought it. It took a bit of time to build, but the instructions were very easy to follow. My fingers are 70 years old and a bit chunky & as I suffer from arthritis so I had to take my time on the fiddly bits. Very pleased with the finished buildings.

As a huge Harry Potter and Lego fan this set has been one of the ones on top of my wishlist for Lego to create for years and to have the Three Broomsticks and Honeydukes up on display next to my other Harry Potter Lego sets is fantastic.The verified purchase label may show alongside the Vine review label as I purchased a second set in the hopes to expand both buildings slightly.I love the little bits of attention to detail such as the snow effect on the roofs, acid popsin Honeydukes and Butterbeer in the Three Broomsticks.The set is big and has 851 pieces and includes 6 minifigures (7 if you include the Golden Ron minifigure); Professor McGonagall, Madame Rosmerta, Mrs Flume, Mrs Flume, Dean Thomas and of course Harry Potter.As with the majority of the new sets this includes a collectible golden figure which is Ron in this set. The other 8 collectible golden figures which are in the other 20 years celebration sets are Dumbledore, Voldemort, McGonagall, Hagrid, Snape, Quirrell, Harry and Hermione). There is also another 4 of the collectible chocolate frog cards included although please note these are random and you aren't guaranteed to get all 16 collectible cards by purchasing each set.An absolutely gorgeous set which was so much fun to build and would make a perfect Christmas gift if thinking of purchasing this for someone.

Two lovely buildings with payable features. The snow makes it stand out from other Harry Potter sets. Some may see this as a positive others a negative.

My grandaughter who’s a HP fanatic loved this and spent a few hours of her Xmas holidays building it. She’s 9 and didn’t need any help. It looks lovely but then most of the HP Lego does look good. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive.
