Decent value, fit for purpose.
Decent quality, holds filled M1 Garand en block clips snugly but not so tightly as to be unusable. I think fabric is not as heavy as original, but is still functional, a good value, and fit for purpose. Shipped via UPS, which unfortunately misrouted, causing three-day delivery delay. Oh well.

Must have for Garand Owners
A really cool affordable repro! Per bandoleer there is room for 6 clips. The bandoleer provides a top and bottom flap to ensure the enclosure of the pocket!

Well Made
Product is well made and serves the purpose intended. The color in not what I would consider khaki and is quite different than the ones pictured but that isn’t important to me as I’m not using these for re-enacting. If I order again I’ll get the olive.

Difficult to insert and remove loaded clips from pockets
My father-in-law gave me an M1 Garand, and after buying en-bloc clips and ammo, I started looking for a way to store the loaded clips. It didn't have to be a belt, per se, just something for storing the clips and transporting them to the range. I thought these belts would be a relatively inexpensive solution, but when I started inserting the loaded clips, I found that the pockets are rather tight, and the flap overlap at top made it difficult to get the clips in and out. The first clip went in fairly easy, but as I loaded the remaining pockets, the fits got tighter and tighter. It isn't impossible to do, it just takes a fair amount of fiddling with the flaps and massaging the clips to work them in or out. Given the historic nature of the gun, I decided to return these, and invested in a high-quality replica US M1923 Cartridge Belt with snap flaps. Overkill for what I wanted it for, but I like the historical tie-in to the Garand. Plus now I figure if the Zombie War starts, I'll be able to quickly get those clips in out of my belt, unless the Garand chops off my thumb trying to load them. :-)

Synthetic fabric, but workable
For 1/4 the price of another "Authentic" repro, these work, but the stencilling and synthetic fabric definitely take away from the product. The ties are cotton at least. I found all of the pockets to be roughly the same size, but I'm not putting clips in them so I can't comment on that.

Not official U.S. military product.
Should have read the description better, or asked questions. Not what I expected. This is brand new, cheap material. It's a cheap knockoff.
