Bit of a gimmick but the kids like it
Adorable little nail dryer.I was sent this nail dryer, in return for my honest opinion on it.This is a cute design. The nail dryer is roughly 13cm x 12cm x 9.5cm. The headband is removable and the back of the head unscrews off, to insert 2AAA batteries. The button to work the fan is on the front of the nail dryer, you need to hold this down until the nails are dry. This works as quick as a simple handheld fan, blowing cool air out. So, whilst it does speed up the process of drying the nails, I wouldn't say it's super fast.I do think this is a bit of a gimmick but the kids are quite enjoying it. They love the idea of it, the look of it and have already needed new batteries already, I can't say how long or how many times they used it though. I don't know how I feel about the removable headband, I think that's asking to get lost! For the enjoyment of the little ones though, I would recommend it.

Not great value for money. Not suitable for adult polishes and gels.
I got this for my young niece, who loves to play dress up and put on make up and nail varnish. She really likes it, but I do think it is a bit of a gimmick, which it overpriced for what it is.It requires 2AAA batteries, which are not included, so this adds to the ongoing cost too.The little doll head style design is cute, but the overall function is quite poor, with basically a fan style blower to dry your child's nails, but even this is quite weak and doesn't particularly dry nails any quicker than blowing on them. This is certainly not something that can be used with nail gel polishes or acrylics, but is strictly child nail polish only.It would probably be better priced around £5, with at least one pair of batteries provided, as you can get more professional nail dryers for only a fraction more.

Bit of an underwhelming gimmick
I must be honest when I say that this nail dryer “toy” is more of a gimmick than any kind of useful tool. The Nella theme dolls head theme has a small blower hole at the mouth and when the button underneath it is pressed with nails facing the hole, this switches on a little cool fan which supposedly dries your nails. The unit is powered by 2xAAA batteries which are not supplied and the fan is really weak and no better than just blowing on your nails with your mouth instead, it doesn’t dry nails any quicker but can see that this would be a novelty for young girls to sit and use this just for the fun of it if nothing else.£7.99 (at the time of writing this review) I would say isn’t great value but I do realise there is probably some licensing cost for the Nella brand which I have come across before. I wouldn’t buy something like this anyway as I think it is pretty much useless but can see how kids will like it. I have seen other similar versions of this for around the £5 mark which is more of an appropriate price.

Miss Nella the nail dryer
The media could not be loaded. I remember as a kid I absolutely loved these and got a new one every xmas. The absolute novelty of feeling like you where a professional nail technician painting families nails and asking them to put their finger on the spot to get dried.Well I wish my family had told me how bad these really where and that I could have blew harder myself and dried them quicker.Mrs Nella is a cute novelty item for any young girl who likes to paint their nails, however adults should stay clear.Miss Nella requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included) and a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment.Simply press her name and a small fan starts and blows cold air out her neck. The positioning of the air doesn’t exactly hit the nails in the correct way either. As a nail tech though, I wouldn’t mind having Miss Nella sitting as a display object as she is quite cute. 3*

Definitely a gimmick however niece loves it.
Ordered this Miss Nella Nail Dryer toy for my niece who absolutely loves it. She seems her mum dry her nails under a UV light and now loves the fact she has her own dryer. The dryer is beautifully presented and will definitely appeal to kids and maybe some adults 😉Simply unscrew the back of the head and insert 2 x AAA batteries. Screw back on and you’re ready to go.Place your finger on the Miss Nella button and hold down while it blows out cold air which will dry your nail. By no means will it dry your nails super quick as this is more a gimmick however it makes the process fun for my niece who loves it.At the current price of £7.99 I do think it’s a little pricey for it and think £5.99 is more of a reasonable price.

super cute
I've never seen a product like this but as soon as I saw it I knew it would be perfect for my granddaughter as she loves painting her (and everybody else's) nailsThis cute little head blows out cold air when you press the buttonthe batteries are hidden behind the head scarf on top of the headI wouldn't say it dries the nails much quicker than normal but for the novelty factor its brilliant and my granddaughter loves itwould make a perfect present for any little girl

Great for kids
My little one loves experimenting with make up and nail polish but when it comes to nail varnish, she doesn’t have the patience to let it dry before taking up activities with her hands!!! This cute little nail dryer has rectified this and is a perfect addition to her dressing table and works well in aiding the drying process of newly painted nails! Nella nail dryer doesn’t take up much space and when not in use, looks stylish! She comes boxed and makes a great gift!
