Naoki Matcha Ujitawara Special Blend Masters Collection Matcha – Authentic Japanese Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder from Uji, Kyoto (40g / 1.4oz)

Hands down my favorite matcha powder!! It’s so easy to blend because it’s such a fine powder, and makes the smoothest matcha. I wanted a healthier alternative to drinking coffee every day and this is it! I’m obsessed and I don’t even crave coffee anymore. This gives me sustainable energy without a crash, no jittery feeling, and no stomach issues. It lasts me a little over a month and I drink it every day, sometimes 2x a day if I need a little extra energy! I don’t love that it comes in a little foil packet inside the jar because it makes a mess when opened, but I assume there is a purpose to that! I usually just dump it into the jar when I first open it and then store in the refrigerator.

After finding this wooden whisk I looked it up what’s it for which led me to discover matcha tea and its health benefits. Then a random matcha video came up on my YouTube and took the risk of buying this expensive matcha powder to try it. Didn’t even consider ordering matcha latte at Starbucks or other bubble tea shops first for some reason. The risk was worth it. My matcha latte was so good. I also added crystal pearls into my drink. Thought I would drink a 16oz/day but love it so much I drink 2/day. I’ve been an espresso drinker or just drink simple tea. I haven’t drank coffee since making the switch. 2 weeks later, there was a new boba shop promotion and I decide to order an iced matcha latte that I’ve been drinking. It was terrible so full of bad sugar. I took a couple of sips and dumped it. Couldn’t finish it. Ordered another matcha latte on my free birthday drink at BR and that was terrible too. Dumped that. I will try Starbucks next to see if their matcha latte is any good.Now I make my own iced matcha latte with honey. Bought a milk frother to get the right level of milk foam and steam milk. I have the right level of sweetness and taste. No after taste or need to brush my teeth afterwards.

My daughter currently loves matcha and we have been on a matcha craze searching for the best matcha.You have so many to choose from and we were very hesitant to try this brand and boy were we surprised. We are very happy with this matcha powder.It blends well and we are not left with clumps of matcha inside our cups when we make a cup.As far as energy level goes we haven’t noticed a different in that area but we are true believers in what matcha has to offer.The size of the canister is small but you get a lot of matcha for the price.To me the taste is very subtle and to my daughter is very light when compared to other brands.

I have purchased this matcha 3 times now, and I got to say, its my absolute favorite!! It is amazing for the price (not too expensive) and has consistent taste. I do not need to sift the matcha, so there are no clumbs like I have seen in others. Package is sturdy but easy to scoop matcha. It is bright green which I love. I have nothing else bad to say, it is truly my favorite and will be purchasing again.

This matcha has some vegetal notes, a very small amount of astringency, and umami notes. Perfect for beginners since it has some bitterness towards the end but not overpowering. It gave me a steady stream of calm energy since i work night shifts. At the price of this matcha i think it is well worth it. Also look at that gorgeous green! I made it with some oat milk and home made earl grey syrup! Yum!

This product has made me go from a matcha hater to a LOVER. I have also quit coffee because of this. After telling my best friend I thought matcha tasted fishy, she said I was not trying the right kind. She recommended this product and I have been drinking it every morning (and sometimes again in the afternoon) for 6 months. I love it and the matcha making morning routine!

I haven’t tried it yet since the syrup I ordered to go with it (monin rose syrup- my new latest obsession) but it smells and looks like a nice quality matcha! I love when it has that nice earthy smell to it. I’ll come back with an update if I find that it’s terrible lolPs: don’t try the jade leaf matcha (at least the barista edition 🤢) I’ll attach some photos to show the difference in quality… you can see the bead like texture of the jade leaf matcha…which doesn’t even sift into a powder!

This matcha is really good! It has a lovely, vibrant green and I like the tin it comes in. The taste is mild, but still has noticeable notes of earth and umami. It’s a good option if you are looking for something more budget friendly, but still great quality and taste! Highly recommend :)
