Claudette's Miraculous Motown Adventure
is a delightful children's book beautifully illustrated for young children Pre-K-1st Grade about the story of little Claudette Rogers-Robinson and her miraculous Motown adventures and how she brings joy to everyone with her gift of song. Since Halloween is approaching it is an excellent book to give to a child during the holidays especially Halloween since there is a witch in the story who brings doom to Motown & also for birthdays or for at Christmas time. Little Claudette brings King Berry (The Miracles) who are elves as a gift. And he is absolutely delighted and dubs her the official title of First Lady of Motown. The book is full of rhymes, mystery, & magic and at the very end it is full of interesting historical factual information about the children's author the real Claudette Rogers-Robinson who is an original member of the singing group (The Miracles) which consisted of "William "Smokey" Robinson", "Robert "Bobby" Rogers", "Ronald "Ronnie" White", "Warren "Pete" Moore" & guitarist "Marv Tarplin" who were the 1st group signed to Motown records on the Tamla label in 1959. Again it's an excellent children's book yet at the same time it has some historical value. I highly recommend this book

Claudette's Adventure
Even for those who are not familiar with Motown Records and the vocal group, The Miracles, this book is an enjoyable treat for all young readers. Wonderfully illustrated, young school age children will surely enjoy this story of Claudette's Miraculous Motown Adventure. The book is light weight and easy for young readers to hold. The story is a fantasy tale, which all young children enjoy, even though the story is based on the beginning of the Motown recording company and the formation of Claudette's vocal group. As an elementary school substitute and a retired middle school teacher, I know the kindergarten and primary grade students love "the land of make-believe" fiction. I highly recommend this new book to all primary grade teachers and parents of primary grade students. It's delightful, much like the tales of Alice In Wonderland and The Wizard Of Oz. The author, Claudette Robinson, was a member of the Miracles singing group and the book includes a brief detailed story on them with photos.

Children can learn how Motown began with the Miracles and the importance of music in their lives.
A darling children's book with beautiful illustrations. Little Claudette loves singing and music. She lives in a musical monarchy place called Motown. Suddenly a witch uses her supernatural powers to darken and silence Motown. Little Claudette finds a box of four singing elves called the Miracles, Smokey, Bobby, Ronnie and Pete. They ask her to sing with them. Their harmony was so sweet. Will they be able to save the day and bring light, laughter and music back to Motown? Who will be crowned the First Lady of Motown? I love this book because it is a fairy tale with historical information. Children can learn about the beginnings of Motown, the Miracles and the importance of music in their lives. This book belongs in every library and school. I highly recommend this book.

Great Book of Details, Facts, Friendship and Love
Bought this book for my (then) 6 year old granchild. It was an easy read, illustrations are great, and the story entertaining. We always read the story together, discuss its meaning, then a few days later I let him read it back to me. He loves the book and now reads it to his 2 year old little brother. We are waiting for the next adventures of Little Claudette and her friends.
