Glasses look like they'll be exactly what I wanted. After cataract surgery, I no longer need glasses for distance vision but I do still need them for reading or looking at small things up close. I wanted a very lightweight, compact pair of reading glasses that I could carry in my jersey pocket when cycling. That way if I get a flat tire, have another mechanical problem, or make a rest stop to buy something to eat or drink, I can easily switch from my non-prescription sunglasses to the reading glasses. I'm hoping these glasses will be perfect for that. They arrived nicely packaged, folded open and closed easily, and the side pieces expanded adequately to fit securely without sliding off my head. Both pair also had crystal clear and well focused lenses (1.75) at my reading distance. I have a size 7 5/8 head so the glasses fit snugly for me but I believe they'd also be fine for someone with a normal sized head. They appear to be well made and come in a very nice plastic case which should protect them from moisture and being squished against other items in my jersey pocket. They are also very light, maybe a couple ounces, which is very important to cyclists like me who try to keep extra weight, when riding, to a minimum. While they'll be fine for short term wearing, I don't think they'd be very desirable for long term wear. The nose clips and side pieces are metal and would probably be uncomfortable for extended use. But I see these as emergency/special case back-up glasses, not for every day use. They just arrived yesterday so I haven't given them a "real" test on a bike ride yet. If they don't work as expected, I'll update this review accordingly. And just for the record, I purchased these glasses on my own and have not received or been promised anything from Amazon or the seller for this review.

I can't tell you how many of these I have purchased over the years. My biggest problem is losing the cases.I like these glasses because they are easy to carry anywhere I am going. I have my glasses for work, my glasses for reading around the house, but when I am out shopping, these are the ones I pull out of my pocket to read about items in the store.I will warn you, there have been some cases my magnets have popped out of. It is a trick to get some glue down in the hole, and be sure you turn the magnet the correct way.There have been instances where I have dropped the case and actually stepped on it. The case is super sturdy. These glasses seem to be of good quality but the only thing that isn't so good is that they tend to slide off your face if you bend down or even just sitting they will slowly slide down. The nose piece is metal same as the frame so it just slides and the bit of tension from the arms behind your ears aren't enough to keep them up. Otherwise they are compact and easy to carry around and the case is nice.

Perfect. Discreet, about the size of a lighter. Very convenient. Unfold them and they look way better than “drugstore” readers. I still use the drugstore ones at home but this pair is great for going out. Now I can read a menu without the phone’s light; or carry them in my backpack when I fly (without the need for a big case). Would buy them again, and again.

Fits well and folds nicely. Great for traveling.

The case was a lot thicker than I anticipated so they're more noticeable and bulky when not being used. Good quality, tho.

They are great buys , & I like how easy it is to carry them and not have to keep buying new one's cause I broke the regular one I just bought.

I've had to ask my daughter on many occasions to assist me with calculating and filling out the tip for our dinner check because I didn't have my readers with me.Those days are OVER.These are easy to carry and are an EDC in my pocket vs. a pair of readers that need a full sized case which is a PIA.To me? These have been a game changer. It's like keeping a small set of keys in your pocket. They take up little to no space which means you'll actually carry them and have them when you need them.I ordered multiple pairs. I keep a pair in each vehicle as well as my EDC pair. Cheap yet incredibly helpful and effective.Do it.
