it was ok for what i wanted it for. but they are not good for wet drinks

The media could not be loaded. Coasters have literally one job to do: to absorb the condensation that forms on a drink and keep that moisture from ending up on your table. These utterly fail. They are printed on glossy, water-repellent card stock (they feel identical to the glossy printed index file folders I have in my filing cabinet). Water BEADS UP on the surface and rolls off onto your table. The water also makes the "coaster" stick to the bottom of your glass, so when you pick up the glass and tilt it towards your mouth, all the condensation that's sitting on top of the coaster rolls off...onto the table or your lap.Eventually, they do start to absorb a little bit of the water, and then they curl up and look awful.I am genuinely wondering if I'm missing something: do people buy coasters to protect the finish on their table from a hot tea or coffee cup? These could work for that. But if you're looking for an absorbent landing pad for your sweating glass, you should look elsewhere.
