Folds nicely, lightweight and easy to use for small pot.
It may not work well for a large pot or pan, but should work nicely for 1 or 2 people. One cube warms a small pot of water to boiling nicely. My burn cubes are a couple years old but still work well, perhaps a little slower to light. Use a lighter. A note: have a non-burnable surface under the burner. A wooden picnic table may get charred.

I recommend this as a good emergency stove.
I purchase this for $5.37. I wasn't expecting much for that price. I would say it's not a multi use product. Maybe use it for one or maybe four backpacking trips, perhaps for a emergency. After that it would probably start to get rusty and corrode. I would have preferred something more sustainable. This stove is hard to open, since it's riveted together. Would have been nice if it had some screws that can be loosened and tightened with a wing nut. Also it would've been nice to have a little tray to put the fuel in when burning it. However then it would have cost more but it would have lasted a lifetime. It does come with eight fuel cubes which makes it nice. According to the advertisement it claims it can burn for 18 minutes on one cube. In theory that should give you approximately 144 minutes of cook time. I definitely would not recommend trying to cook hot dogs over this, sense it probably would contaminate the food. But it provides a means to boil some water in a small single serving pot. Or perhaps to warm up a can of beans or something. This is intended for emergency purposes or someone backpacking. So in case of emergency it would melt some snow and bring it to a boil in order to purify it. However don't expect to cook a whole meal with one cube.If you're looking for something that's more for long-term use. I would definitely look a little longer and expect to pay a little more. Or perhaps use a little more ingenuity and just buy some fuel cubes and find some rocks to stack around it and place underneath it. The rocks would provide a little more insulation and retain some of the heat if it's not too cold out. But sometimes it can be hard to find enough rocks the right size.I recommend this as a good emergency stove.

Good kit
It's as good as the name brand Esbit, well built, but heavy. I prefer the British BCB because it's the same design, excellent quality, smaller, and because of its enclosed inner design, will burn the Fire Dragon cubes - which liquify, the hexamine squares, or any other items that will fit and burn. This stove can use the Fire Dragon cubes IF you use something like an empty Altoids tin (which will also store hexamine squares). Just take a few minutes to clean any of these after each use

Decent, just don’t rely on it.
I bought a few of these when they were $5 each with the 8 fuel tablets and the fuel alone made it a decent deal at that price. It works ok however keep in mind you won’t have a windscreen and it is a little flimsy. I used it to heat 750ml of water at a time for freeze dried food/instant coffee and it never came to a rolling boil but it was good enough. If you don’t plan on using it often these work. I upgraded to a titanium solid fuel unit that is triangular, folds flat and has a integrated windscreen because I use it often. Feels much more solid.Solid fuel is good for small tasks where you don’t have to worry about temperature regulation as much and you can cover what you’re heating (it stinks, I wouldn’t want to inhale the smoke or get it on my food). It burns dirty so expect soot on your cookware.Overall a good way to try solid fuels or as a backup but this unit doesn’t seem like it will last through any regular long term use. Store in a small freezer bag, they do stink and can make a mess.

Awesome value for the money, do not hesitate!
The media could not be loaded. Anyone giving this unit less than five stars is just silly!I paid $5.37 for this pup and it came with 8 fuel pellets. It’s kinda stiff when you open it up but that didn’t bother me at all.Set it up on my desk, poured 16 ounces of cold water in my Stanley and lit the cube.I had boiling water within about six minutes! Enough for two cups of coffee, see video! The stove will expand wide enough for a frying pan or larger pot, I have no doubt that one could easily scrambleeggs or fry some bacon or hot dogs easily. For a mere five bucks I have an alternative source to cook with if I don’t want to mess around with my campstove.Unbelievable value for the money, ignore the naysayers and buy it so when the Zombie Apocalypse happensyou can have fresh hot coffee or a meal.Fantastic!

Sturdy and worth the $5
I've had one of these for over a year. After a year, it's still working fine, but I was running low on fuel cubes. Currently I cannot find fuel cubes, so I simply ordered a new stove. After a couple of uses, the paint will burn off and the thing will start to rust. It won't be pretty, but it still folds, unfolds, and cooks your food. I store my stove in a hard plastic sandwich container from the dollar store, and there's enough room for some cotton balls, matches, and spare fuel cubes. The whole "fire kit" doesn't take up much room in my hiking pack and I'm always ready to cook some hotdogs or something else. The best meal that I've made on it was a creamy risotto packet with a pouch of chicken. It took about 20 minutes for the stove to cook the rice, but that's no different than on a regular stove. Frequently we cook hotdogs in a fry pan or mug on top of this stove. My pan failed before the stove did, but even if I had to replace one every 1-2 years, it'd still be worth it.
