High Quality
At 1.5 inches thick it is very substantial. I expect this board will not split or warp. Teak is a very hard wood but will be less damaging to the to edge of my sharp knives than granite, ceramic, glass or plastic cutting boards.

Beautiful!
Am loving it! I needed something smallish for a one-person galley kitchen that was durable and this fits the bill.

It's a good budget Cutting board
So I've owned this cutting board over a year and a half now. (May 2021-Jan 2023) It's been a great wood cutting board!I try to maintain it, keep it clean & then oil it occasionally when it needs it, and I've really had a good experience so far. Knock on wood! (check out my horrible puns)Anyways, I've not used the board with a "cleaver"... just knife work, with a Santoku style cutlery, Nakiri style cutlery.. that's it.I've cut onions, potatoes, peppers, chicken quarters up, ham, for what its worth? It's cleaned up easily, not had any issues that I know of?When I wash the board, I do use mild dish soap & a brush/sponge, and when I let it dry, I read, that its best, to TURN IT UP ON ITS EDGE.. so like literally resting the cutting board, on its longest edge, in the sink.. vertically, so that it DRYS slower, thus preventing "Splitting issues"...I read that splitting issues occur, when you lay your board down, & it drys too fast. B/c a bigger surface area, leads to drying a lot quicker.I don't know if that's true. What I can say from personal experience, is, this cutting board, has held together so far, following this practice.I hope to learn a bit more about this in the future, but wanted to pass that wisdom along. Its just "anecdotal" knowledge so far. Also on a side note, make sure you buy food grade safe oil to go with this cutting board & use it occasionally. You don't have to do it after every wash as far as I can tell. But occasionally you'll notice the board seems "dryer" than usual.. & that's the time you need to rub on a thin coat of oil and let it soak.Good luck!

Perfect size for every day
I love this cutting board. It’s exactly the right size and durability for every day cutting tasks. It’s heavy, but not too heavy, and it’s versatile enough to slice everything from meats to soft tomatoes to thick skinned vegetables. Highly recommended!

Very thick
This is beautiful wood, but I do find them to be oddly thick which makes them rather heavy.
