Cold steel (marauder,)
Very sharp, nice grip, snap in place sheath holds knife but allows for easy and quick pullout. Like the grip design and material. Does have a hole in the end of the handle, which I insert a small piece of Paracord through and configure a small loop. Why you ask? From a experience that I had. Set the knife down and accidentally bumped it and it slide down into a log jam. Finally retrieve the knife but by adding the Paracord loop through the handle could have snagged it a lot quicker. Comfortable size not heavy, attaches easy to your gear carrier. Cold steel has been a reliable brand . Money well spent.

Good quality!
It's a nice knife. I bought the serrated. Good quality and weight. But I'm a little disappointed, because they sent it in the stone-washed finish. The picture shows stone-washed for the plain edge, and glossy for the serrated. Consequently I could only give 4 stars.

Mean machine
The media could not be loaded. Very sharp edge, and I mean SHARP! Handles very well. Light and fast if needed in a combat situation. As Lynn Thompson said: This is not a knife to take out back and bushcraft with and cut up small trees! Its for thrusting and will cut like a chainsaw! Serrated blades are WAY more devastating when used in combat self defense situations compared to straight edges. Leave it to COLD STEEL to make a serrated bowie for this purpose. I showed my dad this, and he ends up throwing me a $100 bill and said: Order me one too!

I have a legitimate 75+ cold steel knives and other than the Gurkha kukri this is by far the one I'd least like the get slashed with. Cold steel serrations are the best out there bar none. Mine came extremely sharp. Sheath fits well with a nice amount of room between the inside and the cutting edge. I personally like the stone wash finish. I have the og model with the plain edge and polished blade and yes that is sweeter but this is a 100% self defense knife and you really don't want that sun/light glare flickering in your face when you're trying to defend your life possibly...I personally always loved the rubber cold steel handles and this is no exception. The sub hilt takes a lil getting used to but is quite comfortable for what it is even in a reverse grip.. my only gripe is the lip of the sheath flares up an you can't get your finger in between the 2 hilts for the draw. A few minutes with a dremel will fix that as the retainers for the handle are low enough to grind enough off to fix that.. still not bad at all to draw by any means just would be easier to be able to get you finger in between the hilts.

Well made
The finish is a little strange on the blade, not sure I like it? But overall the knife is very well made.
