I was doubtful this would cover my white root areas. I typically use a box brand like clairol and it barely covers it and lasts 2-3 weeks. I only do the areas by my temples and widows peak area and those ones at the top in part that start popping up. It was strange texture...like I was putting mud on my hair. It snelled earthy...which was much better than the chemical smell. I left it on possibly 40 minutes. 10 minutes longer than suggested. I was surprised how well it colored everything. I'm not sure how long it will last. But the package has more packets in it for later for the same price as one box on Hair dye. I'm typically a low toxic natural person and hair color is my one exception because I'm not ready to give into white hair at 40🤪 Using this makes me feel confident I can continue to do it without the toxins of hair dye.

Product does its job....but it stinks really really badly...I washed my hair 3 times...it still stinks like dirt or like ashes....I had to spray stuff in my hair like perfume...I couldn't handle the smell anymore...even then the smell came back...but dyeing job really good...because of smell just 4 out of 5

I am allergic to hair dye so I have to use henna. I have been using henna for some time now and I’ve had no issues. I don’t believe this is a true henna product but closer to a regular hair dye. My hair did change from a sandy brown to a jet black in most areas, but at the cost of having chemical burns to my scalp, hives to my face, and swollen areas on my head.

This henna hair color is easy to use because it’s packaged in individual pouches that are already measured out. All you have to do is add the correct amount of water. I ended up using two packets to blend out my gray roots into my hair. I have porous hair so I put a lightweight oil on my scalp and hair before I applied the henna. That step helped protect my scalp and hair from drying out. I ordered the rich black in. It lived up to its name. It’s darker than my natural color, but I like the look. It isn’t stark but it also isn’t subtle. I’d forgotten that henna can make your hair feel thicker and fuller until after I dried mine and saw/felt the results. I’m really glad I found this product. I will be getting rid of all the other commercial hair dyes I’ve been using. There’s no reason to use caustic toxic chemicals when henna can do the job this well.

This is the only color I use on my hair- but mostly because it's cheap and I'm scared to try anything else. I'm a creature of habit. I've been using it for over a year. If we're being honest, this is absolutely NOT dark brown. It's black. And I don't always get total grey coverage. It is really hit or miss, it seems. But overall, it colors my hair and looks great, as long as someone isn't closely inspecting my roots for Grey's. You have to be really close to notice that it isn't fully covered. So do with that what you will!
