This lighter is convenient, safe and long-lasting. It comes in a sturdy case with a short charger cord. I got it at Christmas use it five to 15 times a week to light candles and one of the burners on my gas stove that is too expensive to fix. I have only had to charge it once and it was fully charged within minutes. I understand that it can melt if you leave the lighter in a flame for a while after it has ignited but I haven't tested that - I pull it away as soon as a flame has been established. The on tab was very stiff at first, needing a very firm push on, but now it is easy to move. And the sleek look makes it decorative so I don't feel the need to hide it away.

We use it in our RV. Space is limited and everything must be in its place to remain cohesive. I hate putting this in a drawer because it's so pretty, handy and easy to use. Love it!

good for lighting outdoor stove

After figuring out that I needed to place the arc tip very close to the burner the ignition occurs instantly. At first I was using it like a lit match but that was too far away and it took too long which was dangerous and wasted gas. This device saved me the $3000 cost to have the circuit boards replaced.

This thing is great! Lights candles easily. Haven't used it long enough to rate the battery, how long it lasts etc. The switch cover is a bit hard to slide up but that's a good thing (no accidents). I use the edge of the arc cover to push the switch cover up but it slides down easily with your thumbnail. It's pretty too :) Will be getting these as gifts come the holidays.

Love the concept and how the proud grill worked but I would like to see it shorter in length to fit better in a pocket.

It won't work to light cigars. Thought it would. Continent to start camp fires. Not safe for propain stoves to much Gas escapes before a flair up.

The lighter comes in a small package. Charging cable included. Basic instructions included. Look like a quality item. Comes fully charged. Slim. Works well.
