[BUYER BEWARE] More CHINESE JUNK!? SMH
Purchased this setup as a replacement for my Dual Bay Reservoir and Pump setup being it went bad after 7-8 years.... I'm on my 3rd one of these and the only difference that installation orientation makes is that the installing the pump with the impeller facing up will allow the pump to keep running for a little longer. BUT they get very noisy after only a couple months of running and start vibrating. Install the unit with the impeller facing sideways and you're looking a quick failure within a couple of months and unit will stop working all together!? Okay design. But as usual with most Chinese products they use materials inappropriately to cut corners and products wear out quickly. Any impeller that is going to be used longer term like this should have ceramic bushings and a properly balanced impeller. This has neither. The Impeller has mere plastic bore with no sort of bushing to keep it running smoothly long term let alone the impeller not being balanced. Way To Go Amazon! Keep selling crap like this and you'll start bringing back brick and motor stores that sell quality products.

Will buy again
Great build quality, pump is powerful and relatively quiet and no leaks! Don't see why other brands cost upwards of $100 or more for basically the same thing!

Noise level ? you’ll be the judge
I’m used to my system running quiet, this pump adds a lot of noise Makes me wonder is there something wrong with it even being no are the bearings gone or is it just a noisy pump either way I’ll be looking for a replacement

Works very well, but annoying noise.
The pump itself works very well. Its been running almost a year in my desktop without any issue. I also installed external pwm motor controller after half a year to speed it down, but it is still making noise. I would say it is not very loud, but it is a little annoying sound. I personally think It is not as loud as loud fan.

Excellent equipment!
This pump is amazing droped my idle temps 2 degrees . The only mistake your making is not buying this pump is may be an off brand but the quality is superb!

This pump is useless.
This pump is useless. Maybe I received a defective one, has no power to pump water to a foot high and overheats to the point of not being able to touch it by hand. As I said before. Maybe I received a defective one, But as the case may be, it's not worth the risk.

Satisfied
My XSPC x20 750 pump died so i needed a replacement, my brother said to get this so i did but i was very skeptical as i could not find any real information on the pump other than the brand name. Well, he is the expert so i ordered it, he set it up and it worked really well even better than the XSPC one i had. My bro said that it is a bit noisier than the XSPC one i had but that is because i wasn't submerged and once he placed the included vibration pad it came with between the L-brackets and the mounting holes the sort of vibration and noise vanished. I am pleased so far and i like how it looks.. My bro only just installed today so i can't say about any staining of the reservoir. I will update if/when it dies or leaks. Pros: 1. Small pump but strong flow 2. Low price for everything 3. Arrived quickly and i live in the Caribbean 4. Solid construction but not as premium as say a D5 but it is the same type of pump type 5. All holes are G1/4 6. Two in ports on tome the tube reservoir 7. Comes with a flow extension in the reservoir to kill the swirling and air in the tube. It can be removed and placed on either inlet ports 8. The mounting plate on the pump can slide off and on with ease but it hold the pump securely when in the upright position 9. All the acrylic and pom top and bottom<--- bro's description of the top and bottom caps on the reservoir (what ever that is) are well machined. 10. Came well packaged with bubble wrap around everything, then every individually wrapped item is wrapped again in one package then in one of those static free ziplock bags. Screws and fittings in separate baggies Cons: 1. Mine did not come pre-assembled as the picture but my bro said it was no big thing 2. In the contents, it says you get a water block with the pump, i didn't 3. only one outlet port 4. The pump had a type of glue or resin running down one side of the pump but it was covered by the mounting plate 5. The mounting plate that holds the pump slides off when the pump and reservoir is in the horizontal position when nudged. this can cause breaking thus leaks

I first set this up at the beginning of May. It is now early July and I have found a small leak in the reservoir. This is not the work of my custom loop, as it is between the plastic cylinder and the black top and bottom (which were already in place and I'm not able to unscrew it off as its tight. throughout the months, the pump has become louder and louder and seems to be struggling to push the water. Now, it started making a clicking sound and sounded like it was about to die. I have not dropped, destroyed or damaged the pump/reservoir, and I have used Distilled water. I have also not run the pump dry and the pump has had access to water throughout the whole time of use. As a PC water pump, a lifespan of 3 months is unacceptable, and I suggest to any potential buyers to not go for this, but to go with something slightly more expensive, but that will last infinitely longer, rather than having to replace it every few months.
