Fire Base (Drop Trooper Book 6)

It's an interesting follow on from the previous books and the ending when you get there is no real surprise, I just found the whole story jumped around too much, one minute they are spies, the next ex-marines.No idea how anyone would think Wade was suited as mission commander, but thankfully Alvarez steps in/up and runs the show

This is one of my favourite military sci-fi series. I particularly like the fact that the protagonist is on a personal journey - and coming to terms with what he is really good at! Great action sequences and never fails to deliver unexpected outcomes. Some of the character "escapes" are a little stretched but a lot of fun nevertheless - the author certainly understands how "deus ex machina" storylines can be deployed to maximum effect. If you are looking for something to get you through lock-down then you could do a lot, lot worse than just working through this series. Can't wait for the next instalment!

Really enjoyed this one as the pace picks up and the playing undercover was a nice difference to the rest of the series that we have seen.Moving them onto a more prominent role in the next step looks really promising as well.

This is a great addition to this universe. I love it.Having read the Glory Boys books and all of the drop trooper stories I am fully involved. Love it.

The saga continues in this latest instalment of the Drop Troopers series and doesn't disappoint. Fast paced and a page turner. Already looking forward to the next book to be published.

Brilliant series, need much more.Well rounded characters and action sequences. Technology is well researched and envisioned.Can't get enough.

Wow what a great storyline well worth 5 stars looking forward to the next episode due out in June.. Now that they are back in proper drop suits they should stand better chances lol
