Made for Amazon Battery Base for Echo (4th generation), Black

Now I have a portable stereo system after configuration. Great quality lovely sound.

It works. Easy to attach. Lasts a decent amount of time while playing music. I'd say long enough for a bath, cooking a meal, eating a meal in the garden or similar.It would be nice if it had something built in for holding the cover you have to remove from the echo. But I've just taped it to the bottom. It's not like it's a big deal anyway.I have accidentally pressed the power button once or twice which is a little annoying. I'm sure I'll get used to avoiding that easily enough.

Works really well.Locks onto echo like a camera to a tripod.It charges up through the echo device so unplugging the echo makes the base take over power supply so as to make it portable.Not tried battery life yet but easily works in the garden for continuous 4 hours.The only bad thing I have found is that voice commands are not as accurate or responsive when this is attached to the echo unit. Unattaching this from echo makes echo function as it should.Not sure why this happens, but I just keep the base handy near echo and just attach it when taking echo into the garden. Having to repeat my commands sometimes is annoying but speaking slow and clear makes the response more accurate..!If it hadn't had this small issue I'd rate it a full 5 star.

I have an echo device virtually in every room. To enjoy music in an outside space, meant taking out a battery radio. The base unit will take around 8 hours to fully charge, which is not exactly quick, but gives you the flexibility & the convenience of having Alexa at your beck & call. Fully charged, you can expect around 5 hours of continuous play. Enjoy!

I have 2 stereo paired Echoes in my living room, and once these puppies are plugged in, the Echoes become portable devices. I’ve started music playing, then unplugged and taken them both into the garden, where they continue to play in stereo without a blip. When done, you just take them back indoors and plug them back in.While unplugged, you can switch them off to conserve battery.These are so obviously designed to be an integral part of the Echo 4th generation, and the Echo is so obviously designed to have these stands fitted, I can’t understand why Amazon doesn’t sell them as a pack. They make the Echo completely portable and so much more versatile.Game changer!

I liked the ease of set up. I love the sound quality, the sturdiness, the way it fits so well into the surroundings. Would recommend to others.

I thought this was a tad expensive but I got it on a deal so that eased the pain. Easy to set up and works really well. We now enjoy great sounding music out on the decking, or we would if the sun ever shines this year.

Battery life started to drop off after 3 or 4 months. It would only last 15 minutes at most. Asked Amazon for a replacement, they refused and would only give me a refund and told me to re-order. The price has gone up £10 since I bought it. Not sure I'll re-order. Poor customer service on this occasion from Amazon.
