ZESUPER 3000 LB Winch 5TH Wheel Hoist Project - Excellent Product!
This ZESUPER 3000 LB 12V Winch worked great for my 5TH Wheel RV Hitch hoist project. I set it up hanging from a support beam in my garage so I can hoist my 209 LB 5TH Wheel Hitch into and out of my truck bed. Assembly was simple and the wireless remote worked flawlessly. The winch had more than enough capacity to lift the hitch and did not struggle at all. I ended up using a small Powersports battery in place of the car battery that’s in my pics. So far I’m super impressed and happy with my purchase.

Great product
I purchased this winch as a replacement for the one that broke on my pop-up tent trailer, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The installation was straightforward, and once set up, it performed exceptionally well. This winch has made the process of raising and lowering my tent much easier and more efficient than before. The improvement over the original setup is significant; I truly believe it's worth considering this aftermarket option for anyone looking to enhance their tent trailer experience. Overall, I'm very satisfied with its performance and reliability.

Better Price Than Harbor Freight
Update: I've used it once now, pulls the boat up easily. It took less time to load than I expected, but I only had to pull it up about 12' with little load at the beginning, but you could hear it load up a bit at the end.I got the 4500 lb wire rope model. As someone else said, I am pretty sure this is identical to the HF 5,000 lb model. This page of specs in the manual is all but identical to the HF (manual is online) and evens says the max pull is 5,000 lb; same line speeds, current draw etc. Not that it is that important, but the add says 198:1 gear ratio, but the manual says 136:1 (just like the HF model). As seen in the pictures, I mounted to my boat trailer as shown after fabricating two backer bars out of C-channel and buying some longer bolts. It sits just enough lower for the manual cable to go over the mounting bracket, but this results in it pulling down at a 45 degree angle when the boat is all the way forward. I am leaving the hand crank winch as a backup and maybe for the last couple of inches since the electric winch will be pulling down as much as forward at that point.I have not used it yet - I need to wire it up and take the boat out. I may update this afterwards. For any engineer nerds out there like me, I fit an equation to find line speed and current draw as function of load - they are both linear with load, but need to be adjusted for how many cable layers are on the spool. They fit the data pretty well:Current = 30 + 266*(%Load), where %Load is 1 for 100%, 0.1 for 10%. 100% load on first layer is 5000, layers 2,3,4 are 4080, 3450, and 2985)Line speed (fpm) = [3 - 2*(%Load)]*K, where K=6.1 for the first layer and 7.6, 9.2, 10.7 for layers 2-4.I used these to see if I will exceed the 5% duty cycle during a boat loading (I won't). It says no longer that 45 seconds at max line pull, then wait/let cool for 15 minutes. This equates to 3.7 amp-hours in 15 minutes. My conservative calculation for my 25', 7,000 lb boat is 3.44 A-hr and will take a little over a minute to pull it 20 ft onto the trailer.

Plenty of torque, don't love the rope
The media could not be loaded. First let me say this thing brings the beef, it has questionably too much power for my purposes, which is a boat trailer winch. The electronics on it are amazing, the wires provided are top notch, I couldn't find anything as nice at Home Depot, the shielding and copper thread inside are much better than what I was able to buy for my plug extension. The hardware is okay but I had to buy longer bolts for mine. Everything is metric so be aware of that... The threading is 1.25. I did ever so slightly over draw and the rope turned into smashed crayons, I was able to break it up and get it back to normal but I wish I had gone with the cable... I might end up slapping some cable on there. The feed plate where the rope goes through is kind of baffling, I was able to get it finger tight but I can't get a socket around the head of the bolt once it's in the plate. The remote control range is ridiculous and more than I'd ever need for loading the boat. Overall a solid product but consider the cable version.

Winch Quit and no help with Warranty
The winch quit working I contacted them for warranty. They asked for a video I sent them multiple videos of me testing the winch bypassing the control box hooking right to the winch terminals and it would turn a couple inches and then start sparking. After sending them the videos and telling them the winch motor is no good they send me a message they're gonna send me the control box.I give up I would not buy from them because they seem not to understand nothing sent them multiple messages and got nowhere.

Two years and used once, then broken
Used once in past two years to pull a can am hd7 out of mud and it worked flawlessly. Disengaged the drum with the freespool clutch to rewrap the line and then re-engage. Freespool clutch will not re-engage drum. Pulled apart and the clutch is broken with no parts available to replace. Unusable, motor is still strong and the light line was sufficient, but is unusable now.
