Near: Psalm 139

As a family we love these books. The language is simple and really child friendly. There’s not too much writing on each page and the pictures are engaging. My 3 year old really listening to it. It’s a bit too in depth for my 1 year old but am hoping he will engage a bit more in the future. The book is biblically sound and a good conversation starter with kids that can lead to good conversations! Would highly recommend and have purchased additional copies for friends kids.

Such a lovely book for children

I love how kid friendly the terms are in this book. I really like the different terrains that it uses to show where God is and how he won’t ever leave us even when we’re home or we’re on vacation or wherever! The drawings are beautiful and they really add to what the words are saying so kids can understand the psalm and Bible better!

Love this book, such a sweet read! I love to gift this to friends when they are having a baby.

Our 3.5 yr old boy hasn't really "connected" or understood most religious/bible themed books we've tried reading to him, but he loves this one and keeps coming back to it. The illustrations are rich and interesting, not too simple nor too complicated/abstract like in so many books. The Psalm is thoughtfully laid out for a young audience. We also purchased the book "found" by the same author. We (parents) liked it just as much- however our 3yr old finds the one page illustrating the "lost sheep" in the darkness kind of spooky, so he much prefer this "Near" book instead.
