Are the hole punches adjustable? Will I be able to adjust it to a mini 3 ring binder?

I don't see a way to open the bottom to clean it out, and I'm reluctant to force it. What am I overlooking?

Can I use it for legal size paper?

I am having trouble determining the actual finished hole size for this product. Standard (small) or large capacity hole?
