Design Classics Lighting Contemporary Single Light Sconce with Pull Chain Switch and Glass Shade - Bronze Finish

Bought two and love them. Specifically needed sconces with a switch on them to replace existing ones in our 120-year old plaster walls - no easy way to run new wires for a wall switch. While these sconces are "contemporary", they blend in well with our old home. I used 40-watt equivalent bulbs to get a wonderful glow through the glass covers that is just beautiful. They are well made and work perfectly. The folks at Design Classics Lighting are also great. I accidentally dropped a part and couldn't find it. They shipped a replacement out the next day. All-around very happy customer.

Love, love, love this light. Exactly as described. It is brown, I would say it is rubbed bronze. I have other fixtures in my house that are rubbed bronze-and this one is the same. I ordered two of them. One of them came broken (metal was not soddered correctly). I emailed them and they sent me a new one the same day I emailed them. Great customer service!!!! I had the new metal piece within three days! Would recommend to anyone whole needs a high quality, pull chain light that is TRENDY :)

The sconce looks very nice and the base attaches to the wall firmly but when you pull the chain the outer portion of the fixture and shade move a little bit with the force of the pull. It doesn't seem like it will break or fall off but it is unsettling.

This light is perfect. It looks just like the picture and is good quality. We had this weird fixture sconce on our wall that had NO SWITCH!!! The light was always on and you had to loosen the bulb to turn it off. So weird. But I bought this and made the hubby wire it and it is absolutely perfect!

Had to change the shade but the base and wall-mount were perfect.

I live in area with old houses with old wiring. In other words, no wall switches. This is a beautiful lamp with integrated light switch. Finish is beautiful bronze, not just painted to look that way. Sometimes this type of finish is too glossy or just black paint. Glass came broken, and i contacted the company and they immediately responded, sending the replacement to the house where the lamp was installed.

This light is nice, but not $60 nice. Especially when about half of the time, I have trouble getting the chain to click all the way back in after I've pull it down, and then the light stays on until I can get it unstuck. It's something about the chain opening not being big enough for the chain to adequately turn the light on and off, I think. It's pretty frustrating when half of the time you go to turn your light off, it's stuck on. I'd be willing to pay $20 for something like that maybe, but not $60.
