This mailbox is beautiful. It's large, well made, and will add a classy touch to your front porch. Disappointingly, we were not able to install ours due to the design of our 120 year old brick, so we had to return it, but should we ever have another home, you can bet we will seek this box out and order it again.

my wife decided to keep the mag hooks on it cause it looks better . and since I've always wanted to know when the mail gets here every day , i used to keep an envelope in our other mail bx next to the curve with out house .. but we are selling our house and moved into a retirement home type of Villa . so now when i want to know if the mail has come , i put some type of letter out there with it . i just lift the lid of the mail bx and put the out going mail/ envelope in it on the front part of the lid and put the cover on top of the mail with the other part laying inside of it and the front part of it hanging out side of the bx . the lid is a slight heavy , but not to heavy . it holds the mail very securely and the mail carrier has no issue with lifting it and putting mail in it . this bx also is so easy to see all our mail now and so easy to lift out or just slide out from the back side . no need to use a mag or clothes pin in order to hold the out going mail , since the lid holds the out going mail with the lid down and the envelope sticking just half way in and out of it . i did 't even mind the cost of it , since i knew that it would be the last one we bought and the mail bx they provided for us here was just the old plain metal bx that it was very hard to get all the mail out at one time . and it also inhances our Villa where we live , since all the other Villa's still have that old time black bx now . and even our mailman now wants to know where we got it , cause he wants to get one now also . and besides my wife and i at the house always feed the hummingbirds during the summer and this bx really stands out as just what we needed to remind us of those kinds of beautiful birds . and since they had a choice of diff colors , we chose the get this one

This is truly the most beautiful mailbox! Quality is remarkable & picture online doesn't do it justice. Just got it hung & i could not be happier. Details are remarkable & colors are so very nice. There isn't another one out there like this one.Thanks for making one that is worth every penny. Once in awhile you actually get your moneys worth!

It it very sturdy and made with very solid materials. I recommend this if you want to have an attractive mailbox but it also be functional as well.

NOT FLIMSY!It does NOT lock so no keys to mess with or loose.Great for those who have issues with using their hands to manipulate keys.This is the perfect mail box for those who have any physical challenges/handicaps (and receive permission from your Local Postmaster) to install it & have a mail box next to their front door- yes you can have your own Mail Box nest to your front door even if your neighborhood has cluster community mailboxes. It meets the USPS criteria for an "approved" Mailbox.the Only negative is it does not have a Red Mail flag but I just use a clothespin I painted red to let my carrier know I have mail to be picked up.
