Absolutely amazing quality
I've had the Bahco SL25 socket set for a while now and have only just got round to writing a review, One of the good things about this is that i work in heavy industry in the steel industry, so it's definitely been put through its paces.I will begin by saying that i am very impressed with the durability of the bacho socket set, I've had it in the rain, heavy metal dusty enviroment, greasy environments and in hot envirnments and it has never let me down yet and best of all theres not even a spec of rust on it like i have had with some other brands after they have been exposed to the harsh environments present in heavy industry. The Bahco SL25 socket set stays firmly in my pocket and is ideal to whip out to a lot of jobs, its lightweight and includes many of the smaller socket sizes that i need during tasks such as motor maintenance and older electrical contactor maintenance on cranes.Aside from being a little discoloured on the handle grip, the bacho socket set is still performing as good as when i first got it so come the day it finally breaks, if that comes before i retire, i will be buying another. I honestly can't recommend it enough!

Small, handy, Orange top, but not Donald Trump.
I have so many socket sets, and ratchets ranging from Facom to Halfords. All are pretty good. This set however gets so much more use than it's modest cost would indicate. Why?Well it covers most bolts and fixings that you get on a car or "thing" which are not screws (and actually it covers some screws).OK, sometimes for big bolts/nuts I need 3/4 or 1/2 inch socket sets, but this set is so compact and light that I tend to just pick it up with a couple of other specific screwdrivers or sockets if needed.Bahco stuff is good quality and proper Hex sockets, so won't round your nuts/bolts.This may be a reversible ratchet job with an orange top, but unlike Donald Trump this one is useful.

Very cute - very good
This is a very cute tool to use in very tight places. I can't get any of the bits to attach to it though.EDIT: i was being dumb and got pressed the button to get the bits on. great tool.

Compact and great quality
This is a great little spanner set.It is very compact and VERY well made. Yes, the ratchet is small, but if you need more leverage on little nuts or bolts, you're going to round them anyway. Like others here, based on this I may update my old, worn set with the full-size sockets from Bahco. One warning though. I made the stupid mistake of not being able to get the sockets on the ratchet, not realising there was a button release design. My only defense is that I've never come across this before, and there was nothing in the box to explain this. Amazon were great on two counts; the return was super easy, then Amazon answers sorted things out about the release when I thought I had another 'faulty' ratchet.Totally recommended.

Torx bits get stuck to socket
The reason for this purchase was to have a nice small tool set to carry in my backpack when cycling in case of emergencies. It feels a solid kit and when you use the tools within they hold their own. That is where the positivity end - as the sockets tend to be hexagonal this means that when one attempts to remove the "torx" bits it is virtually impossible as they get stuck. You therefore also need to carry a hammer, a pair of pliers and a tiny screwdriver to hammer the pieces out of the socket - otherwise you cannot use another torx piece. I hope this makes sense!

Five stars but read on!
I’m going to give this 5 stars because it is clearly a very well made, sturdy piece of kit. However, there is one downside that is my own fault.I know I should’ve read the description more thoroughly, but the handle is absolutely tiny. It’s so small it doesn’t even come out the other side of my closed fist. I’m concerned that it might not provide enough leverage for those tightly locked nuts. Again, I know I should’ve read the description better, so this is just a warning to other buyers. Also, you get 10 screw heads/attachments (see second photo) that don’t fit in the ratchet?... not sure why those are in there as they are useless (unless I’m missing something?) would’ve been better to add in a few more sockets in their place.

Look out for the counterfeit version
Item delivered via Prime is a clear counterfeit.Few ways to spot these; No logo on the case or ratchet. Name and logo on the ratchet should be on the black section. Internal foam should be all black ( fakes have black top and orange inside )

Cute, compact, but functional and well made
I already have a larger Bahco ½ drive socket set and have been impressed with the quality. I've been on the lookout for a compact ¼ drive set for a while. I have a set, bought inexpensively many years ago, and over time I've found it very useful to the point where for anything other than where some serious grunt is required, its been my 'go to' kit for all those little jobs that seem to crop up frequently. However, my old set is sadly on its last legs. The ratchet action is dodgy and some of the sockets are well worn. So, when it came to replacing it, this little Bahco set seemed ideal. It's very compact, but well made. It's the detail that impresses. For example, the tools are contained within a cut out that's made of high density foam, rather than some cheaper sets that have blown moulded plastic that reminds you of the inside of a chocolate box, and very quickly cracks and deforms. The box itself is sturdy and closes with a reassuring 'click'. The ratchet has a positive action and a padded, comfortable handle (as opposed to the machine turned knurling on my old set). The sockets are hexagonal, as opposed to multi pointed and are a snug fit on the bolt heads heads.I'm sure there are more expensive, 'professional' kits out there, but for what I need this represents and good balance of quality at an reasonable price point.
