WOW!
Up until reading this book I was indifferent about 50 cent. I got the book because I respected his story and thought it might have some value as I am constantly looking for different percpectives in the ongoing quest to get my own life in order.AM I GLAD I GOT THIS BOOK! I am just regretting not having read it earlier. Currently a lot of my self help and inner search material is found primarily in Buddhist texts, these comprise what I call my CORE works. This book is now a part of those select few works. In this book 50 covers key areas of life that need to be addressed and reflected on in order to further yourself. You get a feel for where his inner drive comes from, that which continues to push him out of the streets and to make something of himself in and beyond the rap game. This is detailed masterfully in this work. I took inspiration from all the chapters. One part that really got me was his explanation of the division between 50 Cent and Curtis Jackson and why that separation is necessary. Very basic, very understandable in a way that you think, "Ya that's just obvious" but seeing it put out there hit me personally. It's something I believe is applicable to many people, almost a yin and yang of our inner and outer being that is necessary to survive. This is a book I will read again, as I have my other core works. I take away it being an excellent guideline in refining a moral code that is a requirement for further yourself not only in business but as a person. Way more than 5 stars for me.

A great self-help book for those who live or lived a life of criminality and become the solution.
This was an excellent, informative and inspiring self-help book particularly for those who have been involved in the criminal lifestyle. 50 references individuals who supported his rise in corporate coming from the streets of New York. I refer to men and women who change their criminal thinking and become the solution rather than the problem as "Testimonies of Success". As an educator and counselor working with those who have been incarcerated, I lecture on 50 Cent and his amazing rise to success.
