This is a very complete matcha set and has everything you need to prepare matcha properly. The standout features for me is the matcha bowl with a pouring spout and the matcha powder storage which has a perfect size allowing your matcha to last a long time without topping up. You don’t find that included in many sets, and often you have to buy it separately, so it’s a really nice value addition and makes pouring much easier and less messy. I’ve had this set for at least a year now, and it still looks like new. The quality has held up really well with regular use, and nothing has chipped, cracked, or worn down. Another bonus is that it looks great on display. I keep it out in the house rather than stored away, and it adds a nice decorative touch while still being fully functional.

Nice presentation box. The utensils are useful, but unfortunately the matcha bowl (very pretty and of a good quality) is far too small to hold enough liquid to make a regular sized cup of matcha tea. Also there's no pouring lip (so liquid spills down the sides when carefully pouring it into a cup,) and no handle on the side of the bowl makes it painful to lift when it's filled with hot tea.

At a bargain price of £29.99, you get a 9-piece matcha tea set. I prefer using a bowl with a sprout so picked the grey option. Usually, a matcha mixing bowl on its own will set you back at £30. The box set is nicely presented and you get the following items. Matcha whisk, matcha bowl with pouring spout, matcha powder caddy, ceramic whisk holder, tea cloth, tea scoop, tea cloth holder, scoop holder, matcha powder strainer. Some of the items are made of ceramic and bamboo wood. Overall impressed with the set, makes a frothy matcha.

The items were all intact in the box sealed with plastic foam so that it wont break. The bowl is beautifull but when puring the water is really very hot to touch(not saying it for disadvantage). I am no japanesse so propably the napkin is for handling it with hot ingredient. The duck is just cosmetic for my office desk....the shaker is really handy because you cannot mix easily the macha with a spoon. Really good buy though i would prefer it a bit cheaper.
