Sliced pen blanks, make for great mosaics.

I like these pen blanks so much I just ordered a second set of 50. I went through the first set pretty fast. They turn well without splitting or cracking. They all had nice color and/or figure. No complaints at all. I use them for pens, whistles, and toothpick holders. They also make some pretty nice finials. Definitely worth the price.

I like the assortment, but the Zebrawood I got was full of bug hole, and that was the one I was most interested in. Customer service was very nice and sent me some replacement. I would definitely buy again.

What a fantastic value and every piece was perfect! I now have extra pens on hand to give as gifts that only cost a few dollars each. They offer a personal touch and a bit of class. Assigned APO, I was more than pleased to receive the package (many sellers won't send APO) and shipping was fast. I highly recommend this item and the supplier, "White's Woods".

Good value for the amount you get but was not pleased with the inconsistent sizing. 3/4" x 3/4" is just a general dimension and no 2 pieces are the same. My plan was to glue these up for bottle stoppers and other things and still will, but it will cause me a lot more work and prep to get them to consistent dimensions. The purple heart was really pale in color and not the bright, vibrant color many people expect. This is an excellent deal if you are using single pieces for turning pens.
