I was concerned about some things I read, but I thought it applied easily and evenly and I had no issues with eye burning. (But I was careful not to touch my eyes with my hands). I did pool laps every morning on vacay in Hawaii and I burned a couple of days that I didn't use it, but I didn't burn when I used it. I did get a very nice tan though. Overall, other than expensive, I found it to be a good product and felt good about saving our reefs and ocean environment through it's use.

We're a fair crew who spend a fair amount of time outdoors, so sunscreen is a must. Since we discovered SunBum it has been our go-to. (Some of my kids won't wear any other kind.) Their face stick is our favorite way to get strategic coverage and we love the new, big pump bottles. It smells great and reminds us of so many fun times at the beach, boating, and skiing. I've actually had people stop to tell me I smell like 'summer'; I get why SB started making banana scented perfume.

Great product. Not for face though I bought it for my face but I had to eventually order a different brand for that but differently it’s good for use on other parts of the body. It’s also good for all skin types.

Sun Bum SPF 50 has been a staple for me - especially on beach days or long walks when I know I need real protection. It goes on smooth, doesn’t feel greasy, and smells like summer (in the best way).I love that it’s reef-friendly and doesn’t leave that weird white cast like some high-SPF sunscreens do. It’s one of those products I just trust to do its job ... and it totally delivers.

It smells like a tropical dream and keeps me burn-free, but it’s a bit sticky on super hot days.

I used 30 the entire time I was in Florida. The lotion is fantastic when you put it on before you go out in the sun. I did not burn once!! Make sure you reapply after being out in the sun for too long. I stretched it for 2 hours and still no burn. But everyone is different. I’m fair to medium but can get a decent tan.

I am long-time fan of the Sun Bum sunscreen. Their sunscreen smells amazingly like bananas. What I like most about it, is that it does not smell like a lot of the cheaper sunscreens and it is does not leave the oily, sticky residue of the cheaper sunscreens. It washes off well, too. It does advertise as being better for sea life which can be a selling point, but I'm not sure if this has been or can be confirmed.

I am a sunscreen fanatic and try a different brand each season, as I am never 100% satisfied. This Sun Bum 50 SPF for the body is the best I have tried in about 10 years. I use a different product for my face and neck, then add this to the back of my neck, my shoulders and arms and down my legs, including my feet. It has a slight fragrance, but not offensive, and it quickly leaves.
