Shark Corp 10-2311 SharkSaw Multi-Angle Saw

They're all 10 star saws.
Shark 10-2311 Multi-Angle Saw - I'll admit it - I'm a sucker for gimmicks. This gimmick is a winner, though. No more contortionist sawing! (Kinda sounds like one of those new Olympics events doesn't it; especially if you add synchronized to the front. But I digress.) Though I haven't counted the number of possible positions, the diagram above shows too few. This is handy with a great big "H".These saws are: 1. sharp; 2. affordable; 3. easy to use (after a short learning curve). These saws: 1. cut a thin kerf; 5. are very sharp; 6. allow you to do precision cutting. And: they are very, very sharp (keep bandages with them - even though you've been warned - you'll have to find out for yourself).I have moved ALL of my other hand saws to the back of the shop. These are a joy to use. I want to have each type (and have probably bought more than I have a need for). You will have to make a new miter box because these blades are too thin for any you have. Some tips: 1. Don't pitch them in your toolbox or truck bed. These are precision tools and though they are quite strong, they are easily damaged. Use the blade guards that come with them. 2. Don't try to "muscle" them through a board. The old adage of "let the tool do the work" has never been truer. 3. Don't place the blade edge anywhere you don't want a mark left. I think I mentioned that they're very, very, very sharp.(Since I don't know which review you might see first, I have left the same general review for each of these I own and added any specific thoughts for the individual saws.)

This is my second one.
I finally broke a couple teeth after years of use. I use mine and definitely don’t want tearing of the wood when I’m finishing the cut. I’m cutting exactly to the size I want.

Great concept, but the brittle teeth have already bent on simple plastic cuts. The metal is soft and not worth the versatility of the tool.

If you do a lot of woodworking you need these
Very sharp. I have used this before only not with the adjustable handle. The blades last forever. I have used these to cut up to 3/4" ply and 1 1/2" solid.

A great white
Takes a little getting used to, but it cuts like nothing else I've used before (non-power tool wise). My only real complaint would be that if you over tighten the red knob that it is very difficult to loosen without using a wrench.

GREAT SAW!!!
I find myself reaching for this saw on a regular basis. I don't have a shop set up in my basement so for a couple of small cuts it's often easier to pull out this saw than to set up the miter saw or to get out the circular saw. It's excellent for trim as it's very sharp and has enough teeth to cut cleanly, even after two years of frequent use. Even though the blade has some flex, it always seems to have enough rigidity. I don't use the angle adjustment often but on the occasions it's needed it comes in handy. I travel often from DC to NY to do work on my cousin's house. I never leave home without it!
