Excellent Book
American Gods is a mesmerizing blend of fantasy and folklore, where ancient deities walk modern America. Neil Gaiman weaves a dark, witty, and thought‑provoking tale of belief, identity, and power. Atmospheric and unforgettable, it’s a journey that lingers long after the final page. Easily one of my favorite books.

Legends Of Lore
Often when a book I am reading is coming to an end, I begin to feel down, knowing that the characters I've been exploring will soon part. The main character in Neil Gaiman's "American Gods" also had this effect on me, but at the same time, I was glad to see his story end. The characters name is "Shadow" and his adventure will take him throughout the U.S.A., with grifters, drunks, police men, hitch-hikers, and gods. He will converse with the dead, gamble against deities, drive with immortals, and eat some decent meals along the way. His path is one that you will be unable to guess where it is heading next, and that perhaps is Gaimans greatest strength as a writer; he entices you with imagination and leads you through a maze, and you cannot help but follow. "American Gods" explores the Lore of civilizations all over the world, and how they came to the shores of America, and once here, what happened to them. It is a fantastic read, I loved it.

Great book
I hadn’t read this in about 10 years and remembered really liking it, so I ordered it to revisit the book. It is a GREAT read, very engaging. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of what looks like a problem in the printing process on page 143 (shown in picture).

My favorite Neil Gaiman book
Gaiman’s idea for this story is wholly original and brilliantly executed. I don’t want to wreck the surprise so just read other’s synopses if you like. The book is ten times better than the tv series based on it. Just read it. Gaiman is one of the most imaginative writers working today. Enjoy!

Excellent book. The TV show is almost scene for scene like the first few chapters of the book. But after Ch. 3 you're on your own. Wonderfully researched, you get introduced to dozens of Gods and visit the back roads of the United States. Delivery was fast and in great condition.

Una novel·la que ha agradat molt a la persona a qui li he regalat. Sabia que se'l volia comprar i d'aquesta manera l'he sorprès.
