In looking for my order history I see I last purchased this on June 12, 2021. Today is June 14th, 2024 and I'm back to purchase a replacement. Both myself and my hard to impress husband have been very happy with this nozzle. It is in fact heavy duty, Il love that it's metal so it won't crack or break and with 9 spray options it has been perfect for us as we have various types of plants plus grass, trees, etc. as well as for washing patio furniture, cars, etc. I particularly like the thumb control which allows to easily start and stop the flow of water. Prior nozzles we had required holding a nozzle handle while watering and was very tiring for my hand. Unfortunately, I noticed a few weeks ago that our nozzle is leaking where the black and the silver metals meet around the bottom. It may be as simple as a gasket but if we received any with the original purchase I have no idea where they would be. Given the exceptional performance of our first nozzle I'll happily replace it with another from this manufacturer!

Looks pretty nice and works good but after 4t or 5th time i dropped it started to leak a little i know thats my fault but still i was hoping to be tougher, but still a good product spray pattern is great and a little heavy for sure doesn't feel cheap

Season after season, our sprayers give out. This is mostly due to my poor maintenance: instead of bringing the sprayer inside for the winter, it gets stored in the hose reel box. Most importantly, instead of replacing the hose gasket ('washer'), I use the same one, year in, year out. This causes me to have to tighten the hose more and more, until eventually the housing on the sprayer develops a crack at the plastic injection mold seam. Then of course it leaks, and no amount of thread tape or new gaskets will remedy said situation. Buying this sprayer, which is made of metal, will not resolve this issue entirely, but it will help. I plan to treat it properly, which I should have done with the cheaper models. This sprayer has several features I like: it has an easy to use flow adjustment on the grip, negating the need for a shut off valve; it has a sound construction you can feel when dialing the nozzle to choose a pattern; the patterns all serve a unique purpose, leaving me wanting for nothing; finally, the ergonomic design is delightful. I highly recommend this sprayer for the average, forgetful gardener, as well as those who take care of their tools. It comes with two additional washers, and is well worth the price. On the other hand, a cheap plastic sprayer can be had for half the cost, and if you tape the threads and regularly replace the gasket, never over-tighten, and bring it in when it's - 20°F, you'll also be well served.

This is the best hose nozzle I have ever used. Through the years I have bought a few others at Home Depot, and I was wary when I saw this one has the thumb control for turning the water on/off - because the ones I've had before with a thumb control, after a little bit of time they really become hard to move the thumb controller. But on this nozzle, it slides easily and allows you to easily change the pressure of the water coming out. The selection of spray patterns is also very good. I like it so much that I will probably buy a 2nd one for the hose bid in the front of my house.

Wow, great product! Well built, all metal, no leaks. The best thing about this is the water pressure. It does not drop. I've have used a few over time, the main issue with many is leaks as you cycle through different sprays and from the hose connection. It does have either and works well with just hand tightening. Almost all of them that have different spray patterns have loss of pressure, this one amazingly does not.

I ordered about six different hose nozzles after my beloved four-year old one suffered a terrible accident. I would have re-ordered that one, except that it came as part of a bundled set from one of those computer generated company names that you can never find again. Anyway, out of the six, this nozzle is hands down the best! Nice heft and sturdy feel, thumb drive adjusts smoothly, but isn't a pushover, so if you want it half blast, it stays there. The best part though, and the reason for rejecting all the others, is that this nozzle has a true center flow option. It's a strong stream that reaches about twenty feet and makes watering at a distance off the deck very easy. That center flow allows me to water specific plants and pots with precision. All the others had a useless pattern that start in the center and fan outwards so that they water a perfect circle around what you're aiming at, while your target stays dry. Inexplicably dumb design. The other selector sprays are great, too, but the centre function is really a deal breaker for me, and this one is perfection!

Spraying leak from the handle where the on/off toggle pivots. Only a couple of months of light use. Gardening season had just begun. Disappointing. Very happy to report that after writing the above review the seller quickly contacted me and very promptly offered a refund and replacement which I just received (and this is well beyond the 30 day return window!). A very honest seller with tremendous customer service and obvious integrity. Thanks so much and very much appreciated.
