Given that we have moved into the global economy full steam and no one besides Americans use the archaic and clumsy customary style of measurement, it was great to have the international metric system in the house to measure items I buy on the internet that come from overseas.

Super soft!
I searched for a cloth-like tape measure that I could hang around my neck like an old fashion tailor (Something that would not slide off my shoulders within minutes.) This is the product I had started to believe nobody sold anymore! So soft and flexible and no slippery, plastic feeling. I rarely need the longer length, but it is a plus.
