Let me start by saying: I’ve tried so many hair wraps, scarves, and bonnets over the years, and none worked as well as this one. My hair is naturally frizzy, and normally when I wake up, it’s a tangled mess. But with this silk bonnet, I actually wake up with smooth, manageable hair.After using it for 2–3 weeks, I noticed my hair was not only less frizzy but also visibly shinier and healthier-looking. The fit is comfortable, it stays put all night, and the fact that it comes in different sizes and colors is a huge plus.It feels high-quality, durable, and has quickly become a non-negotiable part of my nightly routine. If you’ve been struggling with frizz, this bonnet is absolutely worth it.

I have had this bonnet for over a year and it is still my preferred bonnet. Obviously, it is very well made and washes great, but the fit is perfect. If you have a larger head circumference, try this one. (Though, if you have a smaller head, the wide band and ties will probably work just fine.) I am super sensitive to pressure on my head and get headaches from snug hats and even ponytails, but not from this bonnet!I turn it inside out because I want the softest side against my hair, but the comfort is worth it and the look doesn’t bother me. It is lightweight, meets its intended function, and it is the best value I have found.

Super comfortable and stays in place all night, it didn’t slip off once. The material is thick but lightweight, with no smell at all, and I slept great wearing it. My only downside is that the dye transferred a bit onto my silk pillowcase and even stained my nails slightly. Still a great bonnet overall, just be cautious if you have light-colored fabrics.UPDATE: I washed my bonnet and now the dye doesn’t stain my pillowcases cases or nails!! I wash it every Sunday and it’s perfectly fine. Love this bonnet!!

Will buy another in a different color so that I can have a backup when one needs to be washed. Very good quality and versatile for multiple hairstyles. Also the presentation is everything. Very professional and well packaged.The satin protects my hair well. Works with all types of hairstyles although I purchased for my dreads. I ordered the pink and its true color. Very easy to use and very comfortable.

The refund was applied immediately.Based on the quality of customer service I have added a star. If Bonnet Queen were to create a similar product with colorfast dye and actual silk, I would happily pay more for the upgrade and give this company a second chance.ORIGINAL REVIEW: As many other reviewers have mentioned, the darker colors will stain pillow cases…permanently. This can happen no matter how many times the bonnet is washed, and the stains will remain in your bedding forever as well. I have a black one and it ruined my new silk pillow cases and left a big smudge on my bottom sheet (I must have been sleeping half off the pillows).Side note: I think the staining happens when oil is put in the hair overnight because I did not have the issue the first night or so. Then I put an oil treatment in my hair and covered it with this bonnet which resulted in the stains. I am not going to risk it again with or without an oil treatment, so this bonnet is going into the trash.Side note 2: As other reviewers have noted this bonnet is not silk at all. It is a polyester/spandex blend with a satin finish on the outer part of the cap.Side note 3: Again, only the outside is satin. The inner material is matte, stretchy and kind of grabby like a lens cleaning microfiber. With coarse hair like mine the grabby texture is a problem during sleep. I have not tried the bonnet inside out as others recommended and since I fear the staining, I will not be trying that.Side note 4: No matter how I tied the ribbon, the bonnet felt too big and moved around a lot. This, plus the grabbiness of the inner material made my hair worse upon waking, rather than better.All that said, I am bummed about this bonnet and hope I can find a better option for my hair.
