I feel it is very easy to press as my son has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and has lost the use of his arms making pressing any button very difficult yet he can press this one! It is perfect for our needs!

Q: I am finding these some what confusing, are one of the Receivers NOT house hold electric? Operated on battery alone?

You have to plug the main receiver in to an outlet. I can go quite a distance outside and still here when Mom pushes it. I just clip it on. That battery lasts a long time. I love it!
