El sartén distribuye el calor de manera excelente y resulta fácil cocina en él. Básicmanete lo uso para hacer omelettes y no se pega nada, incluso al usar poco aceite.

Holds the heat very well. Not a non stick this any pan like this is harder to clean. But it’s worth it.

Godd quality and uniform heating. Have to soak for a while and dry completely after use, it stains easily and is showing blue discoloration on the bottom. Love that it's made in the US but beware if you buy a model with a lid. Lids are made in China and the edges are sharp and clearly not the same quality as the pans.

This is my 4th piece of All-Clad and I love love love it! The multiple layers of aluminum and stainless steel of the D5 provide excellent and even heat retention, which is more important for a frying pan than a pot that you might use for simmering liquids. There's a bit of a learning curve if you're coming from years of using inexpensive cookware like I was; important to learn how to heat the pan correctly (start on low heat, and there's never any need to go higher than about medium heat). This is cookware to last a lifetime and pass down to your kids.
