Best game ever

This was a terrific idea but I couldn't catch on. I bought it because my family said they loved it, but they're all pretty young.

I ordered this game because my kids and I love to play Rummikub and I'd never heard of this similar Turkish tile game.I was actually a bit surprised when I saw that the game uses the exact same set of tiles as Rummikub. The difference is in the set of rules. The games are similar, but slightly different.This set is decent quality, but not high end. The pieces are plastic rather than wood. It should last for years of play.Since I already have an identical game set, I plan to just put this extra set into our motorhome, so it's already there when we travel.If you've never tried either game, I recommend ordering this one because it is a lot of fun. If you already own Rummikub, you can just Google the rules for Okey Rummy and play with your existing set.

PLAYING the game

This is an excellent variation of the classic game; perfect for a change of pace. Instructional videos are available on-line. I particularly like the numbers on the tiles; easy to read. They are thin, which makes them excellent for travel
