I have sewn nearly every day for decades and taught hundreds of college students and adults how to sew. Having good quality machine needles is essential. Having extras on hand to replace damaged ones is necessary. Many seamsters don't take the time to switch out needles when they sew knits, and this is a mistake. After breaking a needle on my new sewing machine I wasn’t sure which size I should be using. It’s nice to have options. I store these right in the sewing machine so they won’t get lost. The only thing negative is true of all sewing needles…it is very hard to read the size on the side of the needle. There needs to be some sort of a color coding system for this.

I needed these specific needles for sewing up my birthing gown and they worked wonderfully.
