I made Pad Thai from a combo of a couple of recipes and bought this since one of the recipes recommended it. I have no idea how it’s supposed to taste but I do know my recipe was phenomenal and the lady was overly impressed with my skills. This pretty little jar might have been the special ingredient. Who knows?

This is the BEST Tamarind Puree I have tasted. I have used Tamarind for various recipes in the past but this is the first time using this brand and it is AWESOME! Tart and sweet with lots of flavor. This time I used it with Kebbeh as a condiment, delicious even on its own! I will definitely buy this brand in the future.

Priced a bit steep, but it is a quality product and has a sharp sweet/tangy taste that goes well with a stir fry.Has lots of health benefits to par, so it may even be worth eating some uncooked from time to time.

i received this item open and i cant even ask for a replacement. i understand if it was not eligible because i didn't want it but it is a food product that was received open leaking on the bubble wrap. the product smells off from being open and un-refrigerated

This tamarind paste adds an unbelievable amount of flavor to dishes that call for tamarind (or a similar tart ingredient). I'm never going to buy a different brand and even plan to stop buying packed tamarind that you have to soak and clean (and sometimes de-seed) before using.

I heard it was a good thing to consume to get rid of parasites but it didn't work. The taste is pretty decent though so I like using it in my cooking. Runs out quickly and is expensive though. I love how theres only one ingredient - not easy to find.

I can recommend for taste and convenience , it’s delicious fresh (not cooked) taste and a great viscosity that is pourable and isn’t like tar
