So Far, So Good!
This is a really nice pan. My Cuisinart non-stick, after almost daily use for the past 10 months, finally stopped being non-stick so had to buy a new pan. Very excited to see a square pan with a heavy lid. I’d heard of this brand and happy to buy and try.Used it 4 times already and food hasn’t burned or stuck or anything. I have an RV kitchen with propane stove that can get hot so I keep the flame pretty low. The copper pan is lightweight compared to the substantial lid. I know people give bad reviews when this pan they’ve used for 5, 7 or 10 months stops working correctly, but come on now. These are relatively cheap pans, must use them correctly and clean correctly too. It can be replaced for under $20 once you have the lid. Not advocating for more landfill with bad pans spawn about but if you take care of it, should last a long while. We’ll see!Update: boy was I wrong. I used this pan (very, very carefully) for about 3 months, about 4 times a week. The bottom got totally scratched up just from being used on a gas stove. Eventually the non-stick properties completely stopped working and scratches appeared on the surface even though I never once used anything metal in it, only silicone spatulas. The last thing I attempted to saute... tofu with a sticky sauce, completely stuck to the pan and caused a huge mess. Into landfill it went. So angry about this because I loved the square size and well fitting lid. Now I have a nice lid that doesn;t fit anything so I guess that goes into the landfill too. This pan is a piece of JUNK!Do Not Buy This. Get an Oxo for the same price

Read the manual
Just be sure to never wash this with a harsh scrubber. Use a soft sponge or cloth, or rinse it out and dry with a paper towel. And never try that egg thing because I have ruined mine by trying to fry an egg in it. But I love it anyway, because it's so easy to clean otherwise. This is my second one, having learned my lesson about the cleaning, which the manual tells you clearly. I have two friends who bought them on my recommendation and swear by them. You can cook anything in it, but even the "small" one, the 9 inch square, is so big if you want to fry chicken you need a whole jar of Crisco or Wesson oil. But you can bake a whole chicken in it in the oven, after browning it on the range. You can make bread in it, or a pot roast with vegetables, or an eggplant casserole. This thing is almost the only appliance you'll need for cooking, except an egg poacher or smaller skillet. It holds a LOT of food.

Very Happy With (Might Want to Consider My Suggestions After or Before Purchase)
First off I was skeptical of buying this given the mixed results people are having, but I kept seeing the infomercials for the bigger one and decided to give this one a try before forking over $70. I have been using this for about 2 months now and so far I am very pleased. Here are somethings to consider before you purchase.- This pan is not "restaurant" grade, meaning it is a little delicate, so wash and use w/ care- After inspecting the overall construction I decided to use on on my induction burner. As I stated above, this is not a "restaurant" grade pan and I can see where the possibly uneven heat from an electric stove may scorch the bottom. same being said w/ a gas stove.- For the people who say food sticks when they use it, I cant speak for them, but I would say keep an eye on what you are cooking. I always like to use either extra virgin olive oil or rub a very thin coat of butter on it before use. Also, the pan is slightly curved outward, so butter or cooking oil might be a better choice, as oil tends to flow to the sides and does not get distributed evenly. As w/ all pans if you don't stir what you are cooking, food will get burnt. So far I have not had an issue cleaning the pan.- The glass is surprisingly sturdy and well built, this is probably the most durable part of the pan.- Lastly when cleaning, treat this pan as if it were glass or ceramic and don't go tossing it in the sink. Use a sponge or top rack of dishwasher on low heat. After all this pan is slightly delicate, and I can see where it could dent easily if dropped.Hope this helps and maybe gives future owners thought. I also plan on purchasing the larger pan.

my 2nd one
This is the pan i use every single day. this is my 2nd one. when my daughter sprayed cooking spray in my first one, it burned. they do not recommend that spray. it will burn. i just used it tonight to cook scallops. nothing stick, nothing at all. most of the time, i don't use any oil or butter and nothing sticks. i cook eggs every day and scramble or over easy and it's great for that. it cleans up easily. i just let it soak in soapy water for a few minutes and wipe out with a sponge. this is virtually indestructable. it's a great size and it comes with a lid. most pans don't come with a lid so that is even more of a reason to buy this. if you like to cook or cook every day and get tired of your food sticking, give this a try. it really does make a huge difference

One of The BEST Pans Ever!!
I love these Copper Chef pans! I have both the 9.5" Square Fry Pan and the 9.5" Square Deep Pan with lid. The lid fits both pans. I use these all of the time and they still look like the day I got them. Nothing sticks and they are a breeze to clean. I also love the way they cook; I can get a nice caramelized color on my food without burning or sticking to the pan. Two of my favorite pans to use for everything!! Don't hesitate if you're on the fence; you won't be sorry with this pan! I have tried so many different brands over the years and I can tell you this is a quality pan. Oh, I also love the square design!! Wish all of my pans were square...

Great Product... Just buy it
Perfect go-to pan in our kitchen now. It works exactly as described. The smooth coating is both non stick as well as scratch proof. You may actually make omelettes without even a drop of oil!
