It is built well, super-robust.. The hose itself is nice and flexible but not that you'd kink it or anything like that. It's plenty long enough for my use. Only criticism in reality is that it's sometimes annoying to latch in its extended position and takes a few tries. Oh, yes, and as someone mentions, you might need to acquire the right fittings - though I sourced some easily enough in the right size. Might even get the water-hose too!

Ease of installation and great product. Everything about this hose reel is as specified and just a great reel.

For years I've thought about getting one of these wall mounted hose reels and instead put up with hoses on the floor, or rolled up hanging on a hook taking up wall space! I finally got tired of that and purchased this hose reel and what a game changer! Takes up around 1 Sq foot of space on the wall, keeps the hoses off the shop floor, and I can retract 50 feet of hose in about 10 or 15 seconds! Such a great purchase that I do not regret! Simple to hang on the wall, looks good, works great, what's not to like?!?
