I love this book! I am a fish biologist and my cousin's daughter who is 4 loves the ocean. I was throughly impressed with the wealth of information this book provides while engaging a younger reader as well as an older one. Great pictures and perfect blend of kid & science!

We really love this series. This book as a nice collection of fish. It doesn’t have as many “wild” ocean fish as we would have liked. But it does cover a wide variety. Several fish tank fish. Our little one was hoping for more coral reef type fish. But still a really good book. Lots of good information.

I bought this book for my 7-year old grandson. He was extremely excited to receive this book because according to him "he loves fish and he loves learning about them". Based on that alone, I am rating this book 4 stars.

Bought this for our nephew and loves under water creatures, he says he wants to be a marine biologist when he grows up. He is 5 years old, got this as a Christmas gift, skimmed through it and already knows the names of fishes.It's a soft book, but I'd say pages are sturdy or strong enough for it to not rip apart easily

We used this book before trips to the aquarium to study fish species.
