I've got a device where the wire insulative layer got broken but the unit is not repairable. I used Sugru glue over the broken wire and then wrapped this over the top, and as you can see it wrapped perfectly around both my wire and the thicker Sugru and device connector. As others have said it takes a little time to wrap the wire but the effort is really worth it!The black metallic plastic itself is a very warm black...almost a dark bronze but very attractive. It is also a 'D' shape in cross section (not just a thin round tube) so that extra thickness is reassuring in terms of protection. I am so impressed with it so far....and have decided to use two layers for extra protection (i think one layer would be plenty under normal circumstances but this wire is used on a wheelchair so will get extra abuse). Ordering more so I can wrap more cables :)

This is a great idea if you have pets who like to chew cables. The only down side is it very fiddly to use, but with a good bit of patience, it looks good and does the job.

Honestly, this is not it's intended purpose AT ALL.. The opposite in fact, but our cat played with it whilst we were trying to wrap a wire and i can say this was the best use for this product! She loves it! Cheap and fun cat toy and it's robust enough not to be chewed to pieces.

Took a very long to install onto the cable - you have to hand-wind it which takes a long time!And when I left the room for 2 minutes, the cat had already chewed straight through the sheath and destroyed the cable...Returned and refunded, but lost the iPhone charger :'(

I bought this to fix a problem I had with my old Bose Wired Earphones. The cables outer pvc had rotted and fell off exposing the actual wires.I was surprised that this happened to my earphones, but on checking it is apparantly a common fault in Bose & others.As the headphones were in good working order, this was an easy and effective way of sorting the problem.The earphones now look like new and even much better than the original cables. Allow 20-30mins to do this, although mine did take a bit longer as I put some tiny amounts of FixAll Crystal Clear Silicone on the damaged/open part of the cables and also at each end where they join the buds & plugs etc to give extra protection. The 60" provided was plenty for the earphones and the BLACK colour looks more like a shiny Gunmetal Grey, very nice.Basically VERY HAPPY with the buy and brought my old £100+ Bose Earphones back to life.

This is a very good looking long golden strand - like a posh necklace, but I found its application to cables much too tediously time consuming to see it through. You really need to be seriously committed to this one. I think that a long cable/wire would be positively heartbreaking to dress. Should you try, you would also need more than one golden strand. Maybe there is a work around, but I didn't find it? Meantime, I am keeping it in a drawer awaiting further light.

Bought this to cover breaking/fraying chord. It’s really good.

My lovely cat has a bad habit of chewing on any cord in sight with an absolutely mindless look on her face. She went through 5 phone charging cords until I got this. She has tried several times but quickly gives up because she can’t get through it. It is made of a flexible plastic that you wrap around the cord, it takes a while to put on but it’s pretty easy. As I write this I am buying a third package because I am putting it on every cord I own lol.

Tiene que comprarlo. Ayuda mucho a proteger los cables.

I like it because my cat hasn’t tried to eat it, but to cool it around a while is tedious, lol. Have patience.

Product is very durable and suits all charging cords/ wires. the colours adding a nice touch to the product
