This bedding/litter material is super absorbent. It takes up moisture better than any alternative I’ve tried so far. It’s also the best smelling option I’ve tried. The odor control is so good that I could easily get away with changing the litter 2-3 times less often than I had been with other products if I were so inclined. It’s also truly dust free unlike other products I’ve tried. The best part is because it’s made of hemp, for me it’s hypoallergenic. Did I mention how much easier it is to clean up? Unlike with paper or wood shavings, this stuff vacuums up very quickly and more easily. Don’t be put off by the price. The value of this product over other bedding or litter materials is excellent. Healthier animals with fewer upper respiratory infections means less veterinary costs! A product that doesn’t start to smell bad quickly with use and which absorbs more liquids lasts longer, making it a better value. The quality is top notch. Invest in the health of your animals and buy the best, you won’t regret it.

If you can afford it, buy it. It will keep your coop clean, smelling good and doesn't stick to the hens feet. It took a full bale to fill up my coop with some added straw. I don't do the deep bed method and clean out my coop weekly so it is not economical to use but I do love it and think hemp is the best. It's just not financially practical with regular cleaning.

I have been purchasing this hemp for at least 6-8 months. This is the best product I have found for my Rats, they love it and it keeps the smell down. I had an issue with my last bag and reached out to the company to make them aware. They responded immediately, with awesome customer service. Which is rare these days. If I could give 10 stars for customer service I would!! Don't hesitate to order this product, it's great for Rats and other animals small and large....

Great for the chickens. Perfect size for their coop. Fills the top up where they sleep and lay eggs nicely.

I love this bedding for my rats. I have two and they really like it as soon as I put some in they started playing in it. I love it because as in the title it's not as dusty as other beddings I've tried that make me and my girls sneeze. Less sneezing, looks better (more natural), happy 🐀's.

This is definitely not dust free, and should be pointed out. I feel it’s a very bad and misleading practice to claim dust free when it clearly isn’t. After bedding was in place and changed, dust still graced the room in the chick brooder house. Will continue on the journey to find a dust free option.

With the good reviews and price point I thought I would get a much higher quality product. I had gotten a bag from another company w some pieces that were black scattered throughout and seemed a bit too dusty so I was hoping to find a higher quality hemp bc the hemp works so well otherwise..well the bag I bought before, which was 3x the amount and $10 less is SO MUCH cleaner looking than this brand. I'm so disappointed bc this stuff was not cheap and it's a hassle to send back so I'm stuck w a product I'm not comfortable using w my rats. It looks about 50% black mildew pieces, very dirty looking. Guess I'll stick w the former cheaper, cleaner brand. Hemp works magnificently as a bedding, keeps the odor in check for so long and very easy to clean.
