low so organic soy sauce
I've now ordered this low so organic soy sauce. I like it. It tastes like full flavor - not salt reduced. I really like it. Also, in my opinion - it's a good price for the size. At least it is for me locally. Glass bottle. I would feel comfortable recommending it for a try. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Skeptical of low-sodium soy sauce? Try this!
I read about this product somewhere in an article about the best low-sodium soy sauce options. I've been trying to keep my blood pressure down so I've been reducing my sodium intake. I've been quite disappointed in other low-sodium soy sauces I've tried, so I was skeptical. But this really is very close to the original with no off-putting flavors. It's also fairly priced. My wife will tell you that I am hard to impress when it comes to food. But I am most definitely impressed with this soy sauce in terms of flavor, cost and being healthier. We always have some of this in our frig at all times.

Good Product and Taste
Good product. Hight quality and taste. I can actually tell the difference over the keep brands. Not too expensive.

Reduced sodium doesn't ruin the flavor, unlike some more popular brands.
I've done stir fry, fried rice and marinated beef with this and the flavor is excellent. As an added bonus, the packaging is also attractive. Looks great sitting on the kitchen counter compared to the typical bottle of Kikoman.

Great for cooking
If you're gonna use this soy sauce, cut any recipe you use in half.Because of the bold flavors, sometimes they can be overwhelming. Great flavors for any dish.

I ordered the Soeos Fish sauce because I liked how it only has only 4 ingredients including Anchovy (fish) instead of anchovy extract and no additives. This fish sauce like many others is high in sodium and has a saltier taste then most. So I would recommend using less then your usual recipe calls for. I find I dont need to add additional salt to my dishes when using this sauce. The 500 ml bottle contains about 33 servings and has an expiry date of just under 2 years from the date of delivery. It doesn't need to be stored in the refrigerator but is recommended to be kept in a cool dry place. The texture is a thin amber coloured liquid similar consistency as water. I think it works well as part of a marinade or as part of a homemade broth. I find this fish sauce better then other fish sauce that I can get from my local grocery store and would buy it again. 5/5

This organic low sodium soy sauce surprised me in a good way. A lot of “low sodium” sauces taste weak or watery, but this one still has real depth and umami. It’s smooth, balanced, and doesn’t have that harsh super-salty hit, so you can actually taste what you’re cooking, not just salt. It’s USDA Organic and naturally brewed, which I like, and it doesn’t taste artificial or chemical. It works anywhere I’d use regular soy sauce: stir-fry, marinades, dumpling dipping sauce, even just on rice or veggies. It also mixes really well with sesame oil and a little vinegar for a fast dressing. Is it still salty? Yes, it’s soy sauce 😅 — but compared to regular ones it’s gentler. If you’re trying to cut down the sodium a bit without losing flavour, this is a nice option. Only downside is the price for the size, but the quality feels higher than “grocery store” soy sauce so it makes sense. Overall: clean ingredients, full taste, lower salt, easy to use in cooking and marinades. I’ll keep using this instead of the standard stuff.

Fish sauce, Is known as NAM PLA, is a staple in my Every day cooking not only for South Asian recipes but the secret ingredient which gives umami flavor to pasta sauce, marinade, and even egg dishes. Here is my take on this sauce versus my favorite squid brand. ✔️Smell:Squid brand is strong fermented right off opening the bottle, More pleasant this one ✔️Colour: S brand =darker in colour, This is Pale and less strong. The S brand is a little bit cloudy and can have sediment. ✔️ Price : able to get the squid brand at the Asian grocery stores for $5 or less, this is more expensive. ✔️Ingredients: S brand has ingredients in the following order anchovy salt sugar.: This brand: anchovy salt water and sugar ✔️Consistency: S brand is easy pour, this I found was a bit more watery ✔️ Packaging: I am able to buy the S brand in a glass bottle and Oregon a plastic bottle this brand came in only a plastic bottle perhaps for easy shipping. ✔️ Origin, squid brand is made in Thailand, this brand is made in China Overall summary I preferred the S brand for adding depth, it is savory and briny this brand is used by us for recipes which require less salt and more of an underlying secret flavor and not the traditional strong fishy aroma. S brand indeed is overwhelmingly salty. This one hides better with nontraditional SE Asian dishes like pasta sauce or egg and tofu scrambles or salad dressings even. 💪 My personal tips: start less, small quantities, using any brand as the saltiness is potent as well as the aroma. For marinade , combine it with lime juice Brown sugar and chilli. For soups and broths add as a finishing touch to balance the salt and add richness. Dipping: sauce sugar and sesame oil works great in equal quantities, same for stir fries ginger garlic and soya sauce and this. Make sure watch out for the saltiness before serving.Sharing is caring. I hope you enjoyed my share.

What you learn the hard way and what you have to remember with any cooking/condiment ingredient is you can always add more, but you can't take away once you have added. I wasn't really paying attention and I added a bit too much of the fish sauce. The sodium content is very high and that has a major affect on the flavor profile. While it was a bit stronger of a flavor than I wanted the basic taste was still there. Also remember to compliment with other ingredients in your recipe. Don't be afraid to not add something if it will not be suitable. Just because you always do add a particular ingredient doesn't mean you always should. My main use is in salads or a flavoring to fried rice. Would I buy this again? Yes.
