third book in series
Love Adam and Kate. I also throughly enjoyed all the sun characters in the book. Love how this book ties all of the other characters from other books into the series. This book has suspense and drama and will hold you attention.

Great series!
I have never gamed, and I don't want to. Luckily, you don't have to know anything to really enjoy this series. Warning - the books are long, so they take a while to read; and you really want to know how things end so at least I ended up reading them all. It helps to read in the proper order. Because they were so interesting, it didn't feel like you were reading a long book, I just realized that it was taking me a while to finish them. There are many pertinent, intense topics that come up: rape, LGBTQ, trans, hate crimes. All this seems even more pertinent in today's society and the topics are handled really well. I love the series and recommend it to anyone.

Taking back the games
For the first part of this book, it felt more like a stereotypical billionaire book romance - minus the Red Room of Pain - than the rest of the series. Soon to be divorced woman in an awful relationship gets a new job with a smoking' hot, rich boss? Crazy obvious plot twist? Yeah, we've read this before. That book alone, 3 stars. When they got to the game tournament, things got more interesting, and comfortably geeky. (Side note: How are the heroes in all three books possibly great gamers? They spend way too much time in the gym to have gamer bod). Familiar names and personalities return like old friends, and more details about the growing tribe. The ending is abrupt, and feels triumphantly unfinished. Without spoilers, it doesn't match with the attitude of the speech given. There are unanswered questions, and a hanging plot line. The writing is engaging, with an occasional typo. An example: "She closed her eyes and leaned back, listening to the sound of him coming through her headphones. She could almost pretend he was there. If she paid attention, she could hear the clicking of his keys, the sound of glass hitting wood like he was enjoying a beer, and the creak of his chair. He didn't always keep his mic open, but when it was just the two of them, she liked the way it made him feel closer."Desperate request: Cyn needs a book. Maybe two. Not necessarily a romance, but I want to read more about him. Braden's always welcome, too.

I can't get enough of this series!
I love everything about the Gamer Girls series. The strong women, the men who love them and the games and passion they share. In book one, Dez's story broke my heart, I know its something that happens in the gaming world, but it doesn't make what happened to her any easier to read. Book 2 shored me up, Riley's strength, wit and hard core...everything, just brought her to life like she jumped off the page and slapped me in the face, then grab my hand and tell me to get the F** over it and do what I need to do, lol. Book 3 gave me the feels, I connected with Kate in a different way than I did the others. She had a softness about her, like she was fresh faced and wide eyed in some aspects and weary and worn in others. I adored her story. A solid addition to the Gamer Girls series, I can't wait to see where the dream duo of Hadley and Cox take us next!

Captivated- and I’m not a gamer
Another wonderful addition to the Gamer Girl series. I am not a gamer, but the world that these ladies write is one I would join, if only to share in the supportive community they build for each other. I get one of these books, and I know I’m not putting it down until I’m finished. I devour them! Each book introduces us to women who defines strength in her own way - and they are brave enough to find love along the way. Kate aka Lithium is an fantastic addition to the series. And for anyone considering the series and hasn’t read it yet- start with Flawed. That book changed my expectation of what books without magic, werewolves, vamps, and other mythical people (such as Iliri- love that series!) can be. I was enthralled and it wasn’t even from a book in my genre of choice. Now I just have to wait for the next release to get my gamer girl fix!

Stronger
These ladies are all strong in their own way. Lith survived domestic violence. She got out and found the world she always deserved. No matter what these ladies stick it out and have the support of each other and the gamer bros.

Another awesome installments
I loved watching Kate grow into the person she was meant to be. I love how we are starting to see a merge of characters from Book 1 through Book 3. I felt that was missing in Book 2. I hope that continues to grow until the bad guys are caught.

Amazing, simply amazing
I have no words for how good these authors are, seperately they write incredible books but together? This series is magical.

The Heat Gets Turned Up For The Gamer Girls
I’d probably give this book 4.5 stars if I could. The third book in this series continues within a year or so of the second book. It includes a lot of the characters from the first two books, but it mainly focuses on Iceman who was in the second book and a new character Lithium/Kate.Kate is on the verge of being divorced from a man who wouldn’t let her work, disparaged her daily, cheated on her regularly and ran up $10,000s of debt. He also beat her, and that was when she walked away. The trouble is that her ex doesn’t want Kate to walk away with anything and is fighting her hard. One of the things her ex said she would never be able to do was join in with an FPS game and be any good at it. So whilst she was looking for a job she decided to give it a go, after reading an article about the Support Class in a game she’d heard about. She dropped into the game and started offering support and instantly made friends with Iceman, a good guy who was friends with QQ (a successful female gamer) in the last book.Iceman and Lithium become friends pretty quickly during their first long gaming session and within days she’s been signed up to his outfit, which includes QQ.In the same week she manages to land an interview for a chain of hotels as a receptionist. The big boss, Adam decides to suggest she might be a good fit for the assistant to the Head of Marketing, otherwise known as his adoptive mom. Kate lands the job, falls in love with it, bonds with her new boss and starts to hesitantly get to know Adam, otherwise known as the sexy, rich and successful owner of the business she works for. All the while this new life is starting for her, she is building up friendships online with her outfit and in particular Iceman.Kate has to face a lot of stuff in this book and then she picks herself back up again. She has to learn to lean on other people, something she hasn’t been able to do for years. She also seems to have two men interested in her, and both seem pretty interesting guys.I really liked Kate. I thought she was a fabulous character. I love that she was a beginner at FPS games and that she just kept trying even when she didn’t start out great. I like that she was determined that her ex wouldn’t keep on hurting her and was willing to accept help in order to make that happen, even when she was reluctant to do so. I love the relationship she has with her immediate boss as she seems like a crazy lady who knows how to have fun and also terrify those who mess up.I love how the authors have taken things that have happened to female gamers in the real world and translated them into this fictional one in a way that is sensitive and terrifying at the same time. I love that they use the word cisgender, followed by the phrase “google it” when the other characters look blank, in exactly the same way I first encountered the definition. I also like that some of the guys within the group really didn’t get why some descriptors of gender are not acceptable and had to have it drummed into their heads until they got it.This book opens up the world of gaming in relation to gender stereotypes and prejudice and the dangers that are faced by those who are non cisgendered or people of colour. The authors do this in a way that isn’t preachy, but it is informative and it is important to the plot. This is an excellent series, and I’m glad to see it it isn’t over yet.

LOVE this series!
Having read the previous two books, i not only was excited to dive into this one but I didn’t wait to do so! I finished the second in the morning and dived right in. I loved it just as much as previous books, and had finished it before I went to sleep!I really enjoyed the romantic side to the story, seeing how it progressed from page to page, and seeing how it was navigated by those involved. It was different to previous stories, and as is quickly becoming my expected norm for these Authors, it was believably in the twists and turns. The challenges that the Characters had to navigate, including their own misgivings and concerns, were realistic and well handled. They not only didn’t instantly get over it, they worked to do so.I enjoyed reading about how other aspects of the story moved along, such as the friendships around Kate and how they built, but also I actually liked the fact that the authors took Divorce, which is never an easy thing for people to navigate, and considered how it may be for those in abusive relationships. How difficult it can be to balance needing to leave, needing the divorce, but also worrying about the others reactions, whilst trying to keep as much peace as they can to get the divorce through quickly. The story doesn’t maintain this as the only consideration, which stops it from being overpowering or too disturbing of a read. Granted their are scenes which are uncomfortable, but believably so and it fits for the characters we have been given. I think the Authors have kept the perfect balance between the various storylines throughout, none are overdone but all weave together wonderfully. The story of the “Gamer Girls” continues, and in this instalment we begin to see the various characters starting to come together. We can start to see them all linking together, so although they CAN be read separately as Romance books, I would fully recommend reading the series from the beginning, otherwise you lose a lot of the effect!I can’t mention the name of the other love interest, because I don’t want to ruin the outcome of who Kate chooses! But I will say that this as well, was fun to read about. Waiting to see how it would turn out, getting to know the personalities involved and understanding their reasons for their decisions is brilliantly done, it’s entirely believable and so much fun to engage with! All in all, this is another story from these ladies which takes some very serious issues in society, and brings them to the forefront in a way which is easy to digest without being glossed over or frilly. They make it realistic and easy to digest, without it being stark and harrowing. In other words, it’s a very enjoyable story that’s very honest in its realistic approach to the various intricacies of life and relationships in all their forms. If you enjoy romance that will make your heart feel warmer, whilst also telling a story with various twists, turns and surprises along the way, then this is certainly the right series for you!

Wow, not to be missed
This is one of the best series I've read. The storyline is inventive, captivating, modern and so relative to many issues out there in the real world. I can't recommend it highly enough. Each character in each book grabs your attention. They flow seamlessly from one book to the next. Strong male and female characters that stand together on the same level. At the end of each book you want to do a fist bump and shout out, yeah take that you son's of bitches. Then scramble for the next book. 💜💜👍

Gimme more
This series keeps surprising me in the best ways. If any told me I would become absolutely obsessed with a series about video games I wouldn't have believed them but here I am! With such talented writers it really doesn't matter if you've never played a game in your life, the stories are amazing and gives insight into the shadier aspects of the internet. Next book? Really enjoyed it
So good to find out more about Ice and I just love Nancy! I enjoyed the introduction of the new characters and the carrying on over of the series story arc. Things seem to be getting more serious with that. Can't wait to see what happens next.
