Works perfectly. Installed in a Dodge Charger 2013 R/T. The mechanical release cable is a bit long but doesn't affect the product's functionality. Tested numerous times with the button and with the key fob too, both car locked and unlocked. Trunk light is stable indicating proper grounding and communication with the car's BCM. Can't comment on the product's longevity as I just installed it but all looks fine.

Part works great. It’s just in a tight spot so it’s hard to get your hands inside the door to hold in place & to fasten the door handle rod into the clip.

Perfect fit easy install , the handle clip at the very end of install can be installed with handle and pin installed first , just take two pairs of pliers and bend the clip just a little bit to get it installed then after you get the clip semi in slot tske a screw driver and place it behid the clip holding on to the pin so it doesnt fall out and push on handle and it will help push the clip in place .. this will keep you from damaging the panel or handle .good luck

I installed this part three weeks ago and so far it works great. It's an exact fit for our 2011 Sonata Limited. The installation is not exactly "easy," but it is pretty straightforward and there are a couple of good walk through videos on YouTube. Anyone who is patient and has a basic toolset can install this part.
