If you wear a side part with shorter hair, search no more this is the only product you'll ever need again. I have tried dozens of hair products in my day, and if you're like me you're tired of having products that are either the right shine with not enough hold or a dull finish despite a firm hold. 1821 pomade has an extremely strong hold but is also plenty malleable and makes it easy to style your hair; it has never taken me such a short amount of time to fix my hair. And a little goes a long way so despite the price, it will last you a while. The glossy finish lasts all day as long as you don't run your hands through your hair after it's applied and it is the perfect amount of shine without it looking like it's weighed down in gel.It smells masculine and the potent scent is a great way to help you wake up in the morning. I honestly used to not like bourbon at all but after using this product for a few months I tried bourbon again and now it's my favorite liquor. I can't imagine a guy not enjoying the smell of this product, so take my word for it you won't be disappointed (unless you are absolutely repulsed by the smell of bourbon).Seriously, I have tried everything from gels to pomades to putties to pastes to you name it. For the side part, you won't find a more user friendly and high quality product than this one. It has zero flaws.

This product is excellent -holds great ,smells beautiful, keeps hair looking natural with a patent tabacoo smell. (makes a man f33l like a man) the only thing is, the price is a little high. I guess you get what you pay.. Nice Job

It keeps hair emplacement. Smells really good. Nice and shinny and no flaking. Recommend it

If you’ve ever smelled Guerlain Tobacco Honey this smells pretty close. Love the smell but the portion is so small for the price. Not sure if I’ll continue to buy if it’s not in sale. While the product works well, it doesn’t perform any better than similar lower priced pomades.

This product was first introduced to me after trying out a new hair salon, and boy did I hit the jackpot. I have extremely thick, curly hair and have always had trouble finding the right product for my hair type. Most products just don't cut the mustard when it comes to hold, and I oftentimes find my hair frizzing out within an hour of styling it. Such is not the case with 18.21's Man Made Pomade. I apply it to my hair while damp, and it keeps whatever style/shape I decide to rock for the day, all day. It genuinely stays put however I style it, which is a relief to not have to worry about how my hair looks after an hour into my day.Not only is the hold impressive, but the jar lasts quite a while. I even use a bit more than recommended (about the size of a nickel...sometimes more) simply because my hair is so unruly, but each jar lasts me three months at the very least which is more than acceptable for the price considering the salon I had gone to was charging $30 per jar. Last but not least, the scent is absolutely enticing. I've noticed that this particular scent is a hit or miss for people; you either love it, or you hate it. I happen to fall under the category of person that finds the tobacco scent to be sweet, savory, but overall perfectly masculine. This is not a scent for boohoo baby boys; it is for men that want to smell like they've just finished up at the barber shop.**I pay full price for this product, and am writing this review of my own volition. I just honestly love this stuff!**
